It doesn't take 8 to 12 bil to get a drug to mkt.
Since 1970 it is up 145% but that puts it at 2.6bil from inception to commercialization Tufts also put the time at about 10 years.

Number of Obesity Medicine Specialists on the Rise 'One of the fastest growing specialties in medicine'
by Parker Brown
Staff Writer, MedPage Today
More than 400 new doctors were certified as obesity medicine specialists last week by the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
The increase was significant: the addition of 429 physicians to the list of certified specialists represents a jump of about 35%, bringing the total number to about 1,600 in the U.S. and Canada.
The American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM), which was established in 2011, posted the announcement on its website. The doctors who were certified passed an exam administered in 2015; the largest number were internists (141), followed by family physicians (123), endocrinologists (33), pediatricians (28), obstetricians/gynecologists (24), gastroenterologists (14), and surgeons (10).
"I'm excited to see that obesity medicine has become one of the fastest growing specialties in medicine," said Louis Aronne, MD, ABOM's chairman. "The rapid growth of obesity medicine demonstrates that an increasing number of physicians understand that obesity is a disease that contributes to their patients' health and that training in obesity medicine is an important part of clinical practice."
The executive director of ABOM, Dana Brittan, MBA, wrote in an email to MedPage Today that it is hard to predict future growth since "obesity medicine is an emerging field of medicine that many physicians" have only just begun to hear about.
"With that said, we have seen a 20% to 30% increase in the number of physician candidates each year," she added
Fen hang over we need cvot results for Belviq to possibly be a success that in 2017 I believe.
It is more about the pipe progression
Belviq was going to be a way to fund the pipe ...

E cant afford to buy arna they need far to much money for the irons already in the fire
Even at our current 300 mil mkt cap
By the way I just reviewed the hundreds of pictures of NZ from my nephew very impressive landscape
Well thought out H.RLSK their are other options
I also wouldn't rely on you bio valuation theory of it never coming back, especially post election. BP is a cash machines and needs small Bios more than ever. Small bios are the engine that will drive BP profits in the future except possibly the generic mkt x Teva.
Are u saying anyone who uses jackass is HR that is extremely weak, if I were on trail I wouldn't want you on the jury
Maybe he is but not based on evidence presented on this thread.

"It is certainly interesting that this sell off has gone to the levels it has on just one small interest rate hike"
the mkt is speaking to the feds imo
