  • If this keeps up, by EOD Friday I will have lost most of my investment already. I won't be too worried about the results on Sunday...

they're in deep doo doo if the results are bad -what's a "few" lawsuits? Can anyone check and see if the group en route bought one way tickets or were they round trip?

i'm holding but now i'm also thinking - if the results were outstanding and they hit all their endpoints, wouldn't they just put out a press rlse? maybe they will use the conference to add some "color" to the results - unfortunately I've seen this play out and it ends badly - analysts will interpret the data -they won't be wearing rose colored glasses if the data is not good..... i'm just hoping for once that miracles do happen. I do believe in stem cells -some company is gonna hit it out of the park one day...

whenever I've witnessed this type of behavior prior to a news release for one of my holdings, it's ended badly. Holding but expecting the worst - . The SEC is useless by the way - I've reported stuff like this and never heard back -

What is not factored into the price is the possibility the FDA does not approve the other generic version. What is required to prove equivalence? Is the other guy up to snuff? We'll see....

    Does pSivida Make Devises?

from their home page under "about" : .... "ILUVIEN is a tiny device that provides sustained release of the drug fluocinolone acetonide for approximately 3 years. ..." I haven't done any research on what the "early access pathway" is about /pertains to .... there must be something in there that excludes PSDV technology from qualifying. Perhaps a device cannot be one which serves as a drug delivery vehicle....?

If they were to release the data prior to the conference, they would have to provide a detailed interpretation of the results in the release as well. The analysts and everyone else would be analyzing the data and coming out with their own interpretations. To clear up misconceptions, ATHX could hold a conference call to answer questions.....why go through this twice? They chose their method of delivering the news - it will be at the conference. In terms of the price reaction,it goes without saying that the stronger /more definitive the results are, the higher {or lower} the price reaction. I wonder what next week will be like -will there be a run-up in price? If so, will we all be wondering if there was some leak? Will there be some retracement to lower price -in which case we will wonder if some knows something negative? So far it "seems" as if they've done a good job of keeping results under raps. This should be fun.....PS I've seen biotechs present #$%$ results at a conference before - - and try paint a rosy picture. I'm in the camp here that the results will be good...just my gut feeling....glta

TNT not doing so well and the US dollar has strengthened since two years ago - so what might appear as low offer is probably more in line with the current reality. The long term TNT shareholders got ripped off by EU decision two years ago to not allow sale to go through. Not much they can do about it, though. Such is life.....

I'm not sure what you mean by "parity". Since Jan 29th, ALIM is lower by 17% and PSDV is up by 3%. PSDV has been the stronger player. Considering PSDV has multiple possible catalysts while ALIM has its hands full with costs of promoting its one and only drug, Lluvien, - I like PSDV.......

CEOs get paid to be optimistic. What do you want him to say - "I think it's gonna fail"? I'm a stock holder, but I wouldn't put too much credence on a CEOs optimism. That said, - I'm betting on success on this one. You gotta go with your own gut is saying success....glta

yeah, I think its been about a year since any significant clinical news has been announced - on the down side that's a long wait - on the upside - i'm taking a glass-half-full view - .....we're due! just my guess but I think within the next month or two something or things of interest will be announced.....

"you can lead a horse to water......" you're still here? I tried to point you in the right direction - and now RXII is down to 70 cents..... with more dilution to come. don't worry though - the stock price will increase again after it does a reverse split to avoid delisting. It is in a slow, downward death spiral......

well, I thought I would wait until end of year to sell and take my write-off - but I decided to sell out early. They will continue to dilute if they are able to get access to capital. What is truly best for shareholders is for this technology to be in hands of someone better capitalized {provided another company thinks it has value}. But I doubt mgmt will consider that since they will be out of work. So never ending dilution will continue. I suppose it can go on for quite a long time. I put the little money I had left into AAVL. I continue to hold BLRX and still have high hopes for the company despite their recent capital raise. I am noticing even quality companies {like NVAX recently} have to discount their share price quite significantly to get money. I saw someone write that the sources of capital have diminished so companies providing capital can demand better deal for themselves. Does not bode well for this tiny #$%$....................GLTA

PT Barnum once said there is a sucker born every minute. it seems some of them are still here on this board. Anyone still posting positive thoughts on this stock should consider turning their money over to a professional. Five cents is about right.........

read the fine print -he is a hedge fund dude - we should assume he and his partners have an interest - anyone who pays one bit of attention to this article should have his/her head examined. I was surprised by the cash raise but it is a necessity in biotech land and they are doing it from a position of strength i.e. a high market cap over 2 billion dollars -so in retrospect this is cheap access to capital imho. the tie to raise money is when you have high stock price so dilution is minimal. with this additional raise gotta keep eye on the prize and focus on trial results -positive results and this money raise will matter little in scheme of things....

that is what a lot of biotech is - most drugs fail. a very few make it through to the promised land. for rxii to stop the trial now would be to admit they made mistake in first place by going with this target. besides, the executives continue to get paid. imho this trial will fail. at 80 cents and change it is obvious that almost everyone else thinks so too - as for this recent announcement today, -I've never heard of the partner company. there may be some value in rxii technology but odds are high that rxii shareholders will never be the ones to benefit........glta who is left..

  • To me, a real spin job. That's why the big tank. their mgmt. must think avg. investor not so smart. By negative reaction to their spin job it appears not the case though. Keloid panel recommendation to lengthen treatment and increase dosage basically saying it's not as effective as it needs to be. How long will they have to treat keloid to be effective? Forever? Who knows? Even if they are slowing the growth, are they just stalling the inevitable? Can't apply treatment forever -there is a cost. They targeted wrong indication and gonna be wasting more money with lengthened trials. More dilution ahead. Barring a miracle, RXII will be a nice tax write-off for 2015...............
