You are an idiot. I have my solar bill. It more each month that PGE in Ca ever was. What data do you have to make a claim except a contract frought with have truths and downright lies. Do you have solar from solar city. You had better be glad you do not.

  • gunn7r gunn7r Aug 31, 2015 10:36 PM Flag

0 to $10 a month. The data is my bill so far after 4 months I am payinng $20 more, but the #$%$ project that by years end it will equal out to me saving $10 a month. Probably another lie, but I will give them that much rope before I declare war.

Lavagizzard is correct. The average savings is not guaranteed, and there will be no savigs for most people UNTIL a class action is started. It happened in Arizona, It will happen ib California just as soon as people start getting their trueup bills. Mind you Most people I have talked to are too dense to understand this. I was scammed only once by trusting them. I know the game now.

That is a downright lie. The very few people will save 15% and in $ figure is about $10 to $20 per montth for the average person. They automatically increase your rate 2.9% a year whereas your utility has to go before the PUC. The real truth , and I am living it, is that you save enough for a ham sandwich or nothing at all.

  • After this you will see what I discovered after singing a 20 year ppa. No savings, higher bills, they ripped off my tax credits, have a lien on my house and I still owe them $ for 19.5 years.. All the while getting a 2.9% increase per year with no PUC involved to determine if its warranted (( thats 58% over the life). This might possibly be the biggest scam ever to hit the US. Its only a matter of time before it all comes tumbling down. Go ahead and have them install FREE panels on your roof, and I guarantee you that you will no longer own this stock. #$%$ doesn't even began to explain the lies they tell you. In the end your bills will be higher than your utility, you will still owe your utility and you will be paying solar city for 20 years. Call them I dare ya and listen to their lies. Not only will you not save $, you will be paying more. After reading the yelp reviews, you will see this is a very common complaint. There are far more 1* than 5* and the people that put up 5* have not gone through the 1 yr true up. After that go to the bbb site and consumer affair site and see the same complaints.

  • The panels are considered too powerful, NBC Los Angeles reports, and were never turned on. A company called Solar City installed 36 panels on the Hall's Lake Elsinore house for free; they would make their money back by filling out rebates through residential energy conservation programs. SoCal Edison, however, would not let the couple activate their system because it exceeded California's standards for residential energy production. "They're saying that the system that I have will generate 128 percent, that's 28 percent over what they estimated," Ron Hall said.

  • Yep I gave them a 1* for lying and using untruths about savings. No one saves $ with a solar lease or PPA. I am living that dream. Sooner or later the world will wake up to this fact. Arizona is already on board, and left up to me California will be next. It's a total scam to make Solar city $ and they can't even do that after scamming your Gov't rebates and tax incentives. What is going to happen when they end in 2016? Darn
right I am mad. Solar city is scummier than the cable company and cell phone company put together!

  • I told all of you a few moths back when I had it installed! In the 4 months it has been installed my bills to solar city are far higher than my utility ever was. They promise it will reverse in the winter. Lies lies lies. I can do simple math. Sooner or later there will be a class action and by all means I will be there in line. The promise that you will save $ with a solar lease or ppa is an outright lie, and if you do it will only be enough to buy you (1) ham and eggs breakfast at the end of the year. I am living it and so is everyone I have spoken to so far. The shorter previewed on CNBC has it exactly right! He must have had solar installed and came to the same conclusion I did. Even my short won't pay me back for the $ I will loose on the long term (20 year) solar scam

  • I am out sold my puts covered my shorts. I suspect that the stock won't fall much further after the earnings report, and I had to protect a 50% gain in the puts. I wish I had huevos rancherous to wait until they report, but I am happy and have cash.

That is a lie , they wont even put a system on your house unless you have $100. They can't make enough $ off you at $75., and if they did wait until years end when the tru up happens, then you will be saying the same thing I am.

you are an idiot. The company is crewing people who lease the panels. That is what I am trying to say. Of course they got funding, it was to screw more people. As soon as those people start getting bills higher than they ever had, then they just might wake up. The proof is in our bills. Sooner or later there will be a class action, and if it isn't stated by someone else I will from the truth in advertizing standpoint. They nver once said you pay for what you produce, NOT what you use.

fool me once only. I will spend the rest of the year telling people about the scam. I reccomended one person and got $250 ( solar ambassador program) for the lead before I got my 1st bill. I never cashed the check and now have lost a friendship. That is how sure I am that it is a scam. Don't think for 1 second that a solar lease is better than a ppa. Its also a scam., but you won't find out about that one for a year where as with a ppa on your 1st bill it starts smelling, and by your 2nd bill you know you been hoodwinked.

  • The whole solar industry with lease or ppa is a scam. Trust me I have one and am paying higher bills every month in Califorrnia. (type in solar scam in google and you will see how widespread it is) The solar scam is over design so solar city gets to use your roof for free when you save nothing, or so little you won't have $ for more than a lunch at the end of the year. All of the twits on this board do not have solar, if they did they run and short the stock asap. The only way solar works is to buy the system. There is no 0 free panels that will benefit the average homeowner unless your electric only bill is $300 plus. In that case it is doubtful solar city can stuff enough panels on your roof to make them $. Their sales pitches are smoke mirrors and downright lies. I never hated the stock until I got solar. from the 12 people in my immediate area none of them saved anything. Its funny I never heard a bad word until I installed it, now with some research and ever rising bills every month I have figured out their scam. It is only a matter of time before the other 11 dimwits figure it out. It amazes me just how stupid people are. I was one of them that was fooled, but at the very least I can stop other people from being scammed by solar city.

  • possibly because the fizz is gone. Earning ( or lack of) come out on the 29th. They will again show quarter to quarter loss of revenue and profit. Am I short, yes, do I have puts yes, is this fad nearing its end yes. Sorry to tell you all this but you can plainly see the bubbles are stopping to flow. Who want to pay for a space stealing machine and premixed flavors when locally I can get shasta club soda for .58 a leader and a quart of torani for 4.98 and make my own without the hassle. It coming boys and when it comes it gonna come hard.

whoopee what an invention. That will certainly get this stock moving. When you have a dying fad flavors are not going to save it

very helpful, worthwhile reading adding much to the conversation. Intelligent person here, and most likely owns a sodastream & the stock. The writing is on the wall bro, it's just a matter of time!

and you would be wrong again chasing a falling knife

  • Finally someone realized that this company is on it way out. I did a few moths back! Should have done it a year back. I own the other 12., now there is 4012. Earning will continue to fall as will sales and revenue. Honestly folks carbonated water came and went in 1930, and with today's boomer, gotta have it the easy way. add Small counter tops, and the fact that it isn't any cheaper than buying carbonated water, where does the company have to go. New flavors won't save it, it's a dying fad that is near done!
