no new information has been divulged by the companies around this agreement. End of royalty stream is still roughly 10-11 years away.
it's not clear if royalty streams end for all products at once or if they end with each indication's approval.
ie breast cancer approval in a 2nd line setting was approved in feb 2014 and the royalty stream has started.
if gastric cancer is approved in 2016 do royalties for that end 25 years from 2016? and does breast cancer from first line therapy get it's own 25 year royalty stream?
I would hope IMGN can get a wholly owned drug to approvals within the next 5 years and won't be dependent on kadcyla royalties.
did anyone else notice that IMGN has quietly dropped the "Tap" platform name and adopted "ADC" naming convention?
it doesn't strike me as something a leader in the field would do.
I learned a long time ago to diversify my holdings away from IMGN. I still have a large position, but I make my money on other things.
Alot of folks are working themselves into a frenzy blaming the IMGN executives for what seems like company specific selling. I'm starting to think maybe there's some truth there.
IMGN is certainly not tracking IBB down. however, I think if there was a problem the price would fall below $9 pretty quickly especially if all the institutions went for the exits. The question I have is... how long are those institutions willing to hold before they are forced to sell in search of returns.
I hope today spells a reversal for us stock holders.
I wonder if IMGN presenting first at the JPM conference had any implication. Were they like the openning act at a concert where everyone boos?
Waiting for the day when prior trading patterns are thrown out and we move up significantly higher after consecutive days of positive moves. I still remember the move to $45. every day was a nice move for more than a month.
who are these people coming to buy? institutions have been holding large blocks for months. When might they start taking profits?
Impatient pretty much sums it up. These are the same folks hoping for a buyout for significantly less than what the company is worth.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
who is paying attention? is this legal?
bio, you don't sound like a long. Aren't you the guy who has been preaching and hoping for a buyout at 20? My money has been dead here for over 20 years, but atleast it's showing a little life these days.
Inherent risk is much lower now with first approval. just a few more years and we should be double and triple the price of today. Look further than $20 and try to show some patience.
I sold the few hundred shares of sgen that I bought at 20 and bought more shares of imgn
Because it's time to load up.
A good summer would be fabulous
i have a similiar story and I'm sure the shorts will have a field day with this one
2 years out of college I started my first brokerage account with $2000. One of the first stocks I bought was IMGN. This was easily 20 years and 3 technologies ago and I have no idea why I've held on all these years.
I hate phrases like tip of the iceberg, backing up the truck & don't miss the train.
I've been watching and investing with IMGN for 3 different iterations of their technology, countless rounds of funding to avoid running out of money and I can say in no uncertain terms that we are closer to actually gaining a foothold in the market to achieve critical mass to get to the next level in the company's growth.
The time to start loading up is now.
Wether or not the price jumps above $10 this week is irrelevant and all the board traffic recently that has been hoping for unbelievable out-of-the-ball-park price action is misguided and short sighted.
reality check: IMGN is a much less risky company from an investment point of view because it now has results that are far better than other drugs that has already been approved by the FDA.
there's still a long road ahead but things are looking up. Price should form a new base given the updated clinical data.
here's something worth thinking about. Many of the berkshire hathaway billionaires didn't get to be billionaires by 1 day price moves.
I wonder when Cramer will move IMGN from "speculative" to investment.
A quick check of IGEN board shows a bunch of the old pornbasher ids dating back to 1999.
I'm amazed that yahoo hasn't killed those handles and must believe that yahoo's only interest is the number of eyes they can report to maximize their ad revenue.... amazing.
unfortunately, Bud, this individual (or at least the organization that attempts to make you believe it is an individual) have been camped here for the better part of 3 years.
Yahoo's IMGN board was at one time a truly great board but many of the great posters have moved on to ragingbull.
The filth is viewed by some as an attempt to disrupt the flow of information for such a potential blockbuster, and viewed by others as a burned stockholder trying to get even.
I personally believe it is a team of people using the ids to maintain a presence here and often on raging bull as well.
No matter, IMGN will do well wether they post here or not.
No one can stop the flow of information.
