When ecty has its asset auction on Oct. 9th, this company will be completely worthless because its assets are all this company is. Only question is who will be the highest bidder and how much will they pay for the assets?

Thank you CPA. I wish you luck as well my friend.

It's looking like getting out at .31 was the best decision I made with this stock. Horrible pick. Some how my portfolio is only down about 30% because of other picks doing better, but seems like every time I talk about a stock it does the opposite of what I want it to do...I still keep watching though because I want to see what happens to all those chargers that have been installed. I feel that I learned a lot through this message board and being invested in this stock. I'm just going to call this experience a very expensive lesson, but one that made me a much smarter investor. And next...

    WHAT A DAY

What's going to happen next CPA? I can't take it. 8k comes out and destroys the stock, then it goes up around 150% from the low in about 3 days on zero news? The only thing that would be unexpected with this stock at this point is it stays at around .40 cents for a month straight lol One thing I can say with almost 100% certainty is that something will change. The only ones that have any idea of what will happen are on the inside, but basic fact ECOtality can't do it on its own.

Thanks for adding to the board seacoaster. I also chose to invest in ECTY when I could have put my money in TSLA. Thought Tesla was overpriced and ECOtality underpriced, but I didn't account for the "deep pockets" that Elon Musk has. He can pretty much do whatever he wants, where ecty needs to find financing until the electric car industry really takes off. If I could say for certain that ecty will survive, I would be putting more money in ECTY right now, but I am willing to lose out on the possibility of big gains in the short term because I think this industry is just getting started and we will have more opportunities to get our money back when less risk is factored in this stock. I am not going to tell people not to invest in ECTY though because it could survive, just to risky for me at this time. We will get our money back though. Just takes patience. Lots of opportunity in the markets, eventually good things will come. Cheers!

It will be interesting to see what happens from here for sure jh. I just wish ecty had some of its own pockets because there wouldn't have been any talk of bankruptcy, but there is the risk you take with a start up company when trying to get in at the bottom of a new era. All it takes is one day of the wrong news, and the .15 to .28 gain turns into a 100% loss. I hope not though. Enough of us have lost enough money in this stock already.

  • This stock has been interesting for some time now and continuous its dynamic ways. So the question is, what kind of value is in this stock? People are talking about maybe the DOE continues funding but what does that mean? Wasn't the EV project about to come to an end anyways? We thought ecty was successfully diversifying itself away from the DOE, but obviously it hasn't been. I want to continue to be invested in the ev infrastructure, but just can't at the moment, unless maybe there is a buyout, or ecty goes bankrupt and then more capable hands take over their chargers and bring them up to date. Either way, I would like to see the blink network put into hands of someone that isn't going to need to be dependent on the DOE and isn't going to be fighting off bankruptcy for who knows how long. I will continue to watch for now until actual news to my liking comes out and reevaluate from there. Good luck all.

Yep. That's why I got out immediately after. It sucks. I miss being so excited about this company and talking to you guys about the future possibilities of this company. It is what it is though. Any money put in this stock is a pure gamble. The risk reward just isn't there for me personally at this point and just going to try and recoup my losses elsewhere unfortunately.

Yep more went up 3980 I noticed yesterday. No new ones today though. Still the same number. First day I have ever seen not even one charger installed. I don't understand why tsla would buy ecty. I don't see how ecty chargers would fit unto tsla model. They have to have a special connector just to use ecty chargers. I think it would more likely be ccgi or chargepoint to take over the chargers if someone was going to. I have no clue though. It's just what I would guess. Although ccgi is not a manufacturer so I would probably guess chargepoint would take them over would be the better guess. 2 Interesting articles came out recently. "Ecotality trying to fix charging station problems by reducing power" Speaks for itself, but basically means charging stations only give customers half the milage per charge in order for ectys chargers not to overheat too much. Also "ECOtality Faces Lawsuit for ‘Misleading’ Investors" says he spoke to executive anonymously said 2/3 of companies staff has been laid off. Will continue to watch to see what happens. Someone on market pulse talked about doubling down right now. Man thats risky...

To hold or not to hold, that is the ?

This was like a bad deja vu for me. I had Washington Mutual stock in the past. I let the rest ride when I thought there was no way the government would let them fail. That stock was about where this one is. I then lost the rest of my investment money as the co went bankrupt and JPMorgan took them over in a great deal for them after bankruptcy and then their stock price went on to triple from there. I missed out and then I didn't recoup any money because I gave up on the stock market for the next couple of years. If I would have stayed in the game, my other investments that I did have did great, but I was out of them. I'm not going to let this get my spirits down this time. I still have other picks, but I'm going to wait for the dust to settle with this one. If someone takes them over, my bet will be with that company. Not this one. Good luck aj with whatever you decide.

  • As humans we are constantly growing and each day we learn new things about ourselves and the world. This was an expensive lesson for me when it comes to investing in companies that borrow money from the DOE and also when researching a company to do more research around the company that you won't find in the reports that the company puts out. ECOtality put a spin to make it sound as though they were doing better than they actually were doing and I bought into it. EVERYONE putting in money into this company right now. This is a pure gamble at this point. If they go bankrupt they go to zero. If they stay alive, it is most likely all of their chargers will have to be brought up to date. Where would it be to someones benefit to buy a company just to have to spend the money to get rid of their chargers and put up new ones and deal with the debt that they owe to the DOE. It's risky being a buyer at this point. Not only that, but it's a long ways away before they start making money on chargers. It's better to stick on the sideline IMO. I am a better investor because of this lesson. I hope everyone the best and am just sharing my own personal experience. My bet is they go bankrupt, but anything could happen and you could get lucky, but is a 100 or 200 percent gain worth a very good chance of a 100 percent loss. There is a reason 4 different lawsuits have been filed against this company. GLTA

This is why... "the Company may need to file a petition commencing a case under the United States Bankruptcy Code as part of any such process or otherwise in the VERY NEAR FUTURE." If they file for bankruptcy this goes to 0. So if you are going to take that chance I would just recommend putting in money that you won't miss too much. This company is along was away from making big money if they do survive, so I'm on the sidelines. I will keep watching to see what unfolds. Wish you grleroy and all the longs good luck.

I would really like to see a video of the offering deal going down with Marxe. Ppl on the message board were saying ECTY made a deal with the devil. Looks like we had it backwards. ECTY leaders must have lied their butts off to get that money from Marxe

My question as well. I would be interested in contacting them if there was a chance to recoup some losses.

I have survived. Today was just a reality check, but I'm in this game for the long run. Just done with this company. Thanks for the suggestion. I will look it over. I want something to really stand out to me before I get into my next investment.

I don't remember them ever mentioning their chargers melting batteries or mass amounts of thefts to the chargers. I would have definitely liked to know that earlier...
