  • So a commission is enacting changes on I-405's HOV lanes. In places and more to come, 3 passengers will be required to use the HOV lanes as you with 2 passengers do now. That freed up space in the HOV lane will be sold to 1 passenger vehicles willing to pay.. How much are they going to pay, well its an amount that to the high paid or wealthy, or those on their companies dime, they won't give it a second thought. The regular folks commuting every day may find it to add up to an amount thats unaffordable.

Now all those 2 passenger cars will only add to the already difficult commute on I-405, traffic will not get better, it will get worse. Its all about money of course. Some out of state company will manage the system and for it they will get 75 percent of the take, The Transportation dept will get the other 25%. Why would they set up a deal that send 75% away? Why would they do this at all? I really want to think the best of this deal these wise are people doing, but it just doesn't pass the smell test. Could there be under the table deals going on here? It appears to be a lot like that traffic light deal.

So just how did this all come about? Who thought this up? Well it seems that the Wa. State legislative district 21's Senator, MarKo Liias headed it up to empower that committee, but why? After the empowerment that read like a denial of everything. And the double talk since. We are all still left with it, no voice in the matter. Way to go Marko.

Please Marko, don't sell the handicap parking slots too. And when the 3 passenger rule doesn't make enough will it go to 4 passengers and the rich.

A few suggestions that may ease the bad feelings about it, won't ease the bad trafic it cause. How about no in and out, you go in you must stay in for the full fare. How about raising the cost of the fare so high that even the rich must think twice about it. And do something about that 75% thing.

  • Search the title in the Blaze. Well Its true of course, VA Mgmt are dirt bags and trying to get even. It goes on here at the Seattle VA hospital and worse. The current director Michael J. Murphy had false medical records made up and written on me. Lots of other sturff. Recall the last shot for Whooping cough I think, couple of years ago. The one that gave it to me, the biggest diameter. needle I have ever seen used on a human and several inches long. Something that would be used on livestock that was tearing up a chute. Anyhow inserted the full lenght and twisting and gyrating while inserting it. It bled quite a lot as you might expect. There have been other such incidents. What about those that are less able to look out for themselves. There really needs to be some firing there. They can't heal themselves. And getting the UW out of the VA hopital would also be a great improvement.

A word about good cops and bad cops. Sometimes its hard to decide which is which. Good cops can have a bad day and bad cops can have a good day. Then there are circumstances of when observed. Then there is the unequal nature of judging good from bad. The good cop is compelled to be truthful while the bad cop is a skillful liar who make his story fit as he goes. Which has the advantage?

Well what do you expect? The place has gone to pot. Corruption rampant, city governments, police depts. Take the Republic of China, buying their families into US positions of responsibilities including polices departments, into the military academies then into positions where they can spread the corruption.

really, can you show any facts on that? What about all those Abuse and Mistreatment victims? The real answer is that when good care is delivered its because of the individual care givers character and pride in their work. It has nothing to do with policy.

Do you think it exist for any reason other than for some who profit. The UW is not in it for charity.

Why do you think the UW hangs onto the Seattle VA hospital at all cost?

Its a hard call. The VA has been good to many Vets and its been very bad for many Vets. It seems to partly depend on where the local is and who the administrators are. One thing for certain the current leaders are bad for the VA and bad for the Vets. Its all about those bonuses you see, all about us that run the place. Those damn Vets are a nuisance, an impediment.

Here in Puget Sound its the same, some very good care and some very bad. Kicking the UW out of the VA hospital would be hugh improvement..

Those that stood up and spoke up are still paying a hugh price for objecting. If you need to throw out all the apples in order to get all the bad ones gone. Maybe that is what is needed.

There are many Police Officers who are vets. Good on them and hope they do well. If they are good cops and served honorably, then they can take pride twice. But that wasn't what this post was about. Its about another type.

Yes, its far worse then mentioned there. and the technology has advanced. Now its monitoring both land lines and cellphones. Reading emails and text messages as they are typed. Monitoring all the web use. There is no privacy. And much of it for nefarious purpose. Monitor your enemies (anyone who noticed or said so). Used by the politcal insiders to keep the outsiders out. etc etc. Goes on right here, but probably all over, The capability would be hard to turn down if offered.

  • Its completely off the grid as far as the constitution goes. Warrentless wiretapping and surveilance. Search
{{{Baltimore Police used secret technology to track cellphones in thousands of cases}}} Yahoo news. Baltimore isn't alone, its going on here in Wa. State. The little berg of Mukilteo uses it to track their enemy list.

Ok but its still bad bad bad.

  • The wearing of military uniforms or medal not earned or entitled for financial or other gain. And their are many less obvious forms but still the same thing. For instance those that didn't serve gloaming onto the
military and Vets good name. Or the aiding and abetting the act. When done by Police its much worse. The police can well earn their honors by being 'good cops'. If you see a police person thats trying to gloam onto the vets good name, they likely have other issues. (gloaming - by definition, to steal)

It would appear that the co-pilot's thinker went haywire. Still leaving a large airliner with 150 souls aboard in the hands of 600hrs and 100 in type. That the pilot walked out and left him in command? Those aren't even entry hrs for airlines, how did he get there to start with?
