Thank you. Unfortunately I assumed that the blank meant it was ROC as before and changed all the "dividend income" in Quicken to that. My 1099 from the broker shows it was all ROC. If it isn't, I presume I'll end up getting a new one from them.
Thank you. I've held PPL since 1994, I believe, and as you can tell, I never even look at it. It just keeps going on, so I don't have to watch it. Think I'd best for awhile, at least.
Anyone know any reason for it? $1.77/share is a lot of money to lose in a day for "no reason". Admittedly the DJIA decreased a good bit, too, but is that all that caused CVTI's drop? Or is it that gasoline is expected to increase? I see JBHT dropped a great deal, too, today.
Well, here's one who wouldn't frown upon a 2:1 split. I, also, more than like your idea of an 8% dividend increase. Even I hadn't hoped THAT much!
raise the dividend, or split the stock so more people will be more likely to buy. As much as I like JBHT, and have held it over twenty years, even I wouldn't buy it at this price. Further, we long-suffereing shareholders who held for years while in the red really deserve a better dividend than we are being given.
Oh my heavens, bite your tongue. I, too, hold both issues but I can't wait until the merger. Then it will be interesting to see with BTI does.
I just wish the merger would get completed. Does anyone have any guess when it will...if it will?
And, again a dribble downward today, too. I can foresee this dribbling so slowly down that we all get stuck, thinking it will come back up
And Zack's, should anyone follow them, just named it a #1 Buy, and it falls off over $2 today so far...I don't think I'll ever understand this stock!
That's the only place where I any longer have spare money after having picked up what I hope to be some good (great?) buys.
But, since EMES is an MLP, I'm hesitant to put it into the IRA due to the possibility of UBIT.. Do any of you happen to know whether or not you had any figures in your 20V box of the K-1 you got this year? Yes, I realize that my figures wouldn't be what yours were, but it will give me somewhat of an idea.
Thank you in advance for your help...before EMES goes much higher!
I rather liked the idea of their closing the fund at NAV. I'd still be under water, but not as much as I am now and have been ever since I bought this issue.
