We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.

  • The Hill ^ | 4/18/14 | Elise Viebeck

A House Democrat who voted against ObamaCare said the law is likely to sweep Republicans into office in November.

Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-Mass.) had dire predictions for his party during a radio interview on Thursday.

"We will lose seats in the House," Lynch told Boston Herald Radio. "I am fairly certain of that based on the poll numbers that are coming out from more experienced poll sets down there."

He continued, "And I think we may lose the Senate. I think that's a possibility ... primarily because of healthcare."

The comments pit Lynch against party chiefs like Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). The House minority leader and others have argued consistently that the healthcare law will be a political winner for Democrats this year.

Democrats are seeking to go on offense after Thursday's news from the White House that 8 million people have signed up for private plans on the insurance exchanges.

Lynch predicted the issue will again turn sour for the party a few years down the road because of several taxes within the law that have not taken effect. A levy on the most generous health plans, for example, will start in 2018.

"There's all these taxes and fees that are the tough medicine, that up to now ... haven't been implemented. I don't know who’s going to do that,” Lynch said.

Only a fool would believe a pathological liar. That explains your belief in the 8 million number.

  • The lib loons call this "healthcare".

A New York woman suffering from a neurological disease that has required four brain surgeries has been dropped by all of her doctors and denied medications due to her obamacare plan.

"I've been vomiting. I lost 22 pounds. The pain is unbearable," said Margaret Figueroa, 49, on Wednesday. "My medication helps me function during the day."

Figueroa suffers from a disease known as Arnold Chiari Malformation and Syringomyelia. Even though the obamacare plan she purchased assured her that she was covered, her insurance card was denied when she went to fill her prescriptions. Then she learned that none of her doctors accept her obamacare plan. Figueroa says she cannot find a doctor who accepts her obamacare plan; indeed, there are only six doctors in all of Staten Island who take her plan, none of whom she's been able to get appointments with.

Good health care, huh, lib loons?

  • According to new IRS emails obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request from Judicial Watch, former head of tax exempt groups at the IRS Lois (I plead the 5th) Lerner contacted the Department of Justice in May 2013 about whether tax exempt groups could be criminally prosecuted for “lying” about political activity.

President Clinton and his national security team ignored several opportunities to capture Osama bin Laden and his terrorist associates. . . .

I know because I negotiated more than one of the opportunities.

From 1996 to 1998, I opened unofficial channels between Sudan and the Clinton administration. I met with officials in both countries, including Clinton, U.S. National Security Advisor Samuel R. "Sandy" Berger and Sudan's president and intelligence chief. President Omar Hassan Ahmed Bashir, who wanted terrorism sanctions against Sudan lifted, offered the arrest and extradition of Bin Laden and detailed intelligence data about the global networks constructed by Egypt's Islamic Jihad, Iran's Hezbollah and the Palestinian Hamas.

Among those in the networks were the two hijackers who piloted commercial airliners into the World Trade Center.

The silence of the Clinton administration in responding to these offers was deafening.

As an American Muslim and a political supporter of Clinton, I feel now, as I argued with Clinton and Berger then, that their counter-terrorism policies fueled the rise of Bin Laden from an ordinary man to a Hydra-like monster. (Got that labcorp_pos3?).

Realizing the growing problem with Bin Laden, Bashir sent key intelligence officials to the U.S. in February 1996.

The Sudanese offered to arrest Bin Laden and extradite him to Saudi Arabia or, barring that, to "baby-sit" him--monitoring all his activities and associates.

But Saudi officials didn't want their home-grown terrorist back where he might plot to overthrow them.

In May 1996, the Sudanese capitulated to U.S. pressure and asked Bin Laden to leave, despite their feeling that he could be monitored better in Sudan than elsewhere.

  • Some snitches get stitches — others get speeches.

Amid revelations last week that he served as a shady FBI informant, the Rev. Al Sharpton hosted a high-profile address by obama Friday at Sharpton’s National Action Network convention in Midtown.

Sporting broad grins, the old political allies embraced warmly before obama’s fiery address that predictably made no reference to the rat allegations that have gnawed at Sharpton in recent days.

obama instead shoveled praise on his embattled host and lauded Sharpton’s history of controversial activism. (obama obviously condones Sharpton's race-baiting-for-profit activities.)

Court orders mean nothing to the king.

A Nevada cattle rancher appears to have won his week-long battle with the federal government over a controversial cattle roundup that had led to the arrest of several protesters.

Cliven Bundy went head to head with obama's Bureau of Land Management over the removal of hundreds of his cattle from federal land, where the government said they were grazing illegally.

Bundy claims his herd of roughly 900 cattle have grazed on the land along the riverbed near Bunkerville, 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, since 1870 and threatened a "range war" against obama's BLM on the Bundy Ranch website after one of his sons was arrested while protesting the removal of the cattle.

"I have no contract with the United States government," Bundy said. "I was paying grazing fees for management and that's what obama's BLM was supposed to be, land managers and they were managing my ranch out of business, so I refused to pay."

The obama's federal government had countered that Bundy "owes the American people in excess of $1 million " in unpaid grazing fees and "refuses to abide by the law of land, despite many opportunities over the last 20 years to do so."

However, today obama's BLM said it would not enforce a court order to remove the cattle and was pulling out of the area.

  • For the record, obama did coke, too. He said so in his book.

DURHAM, NC — A drug trafficker who worked for Al Sharpton’s nonprofit in the 1980s said that despite the preacher’s denials, he was eager to get a slice of the lucrative drug deal captured on FBI surveillance video.

“It was greed. He just wanted money,” Robert Curington, 72, told The Post during a two-day interview at his North Carolina home, detailing for the first time how Sharpton stepped into the FBI’s trap — and was then forced to become a federal informant.

Sharpton has said he showed interest in the drug deal only because he feared the undercover agent was armed. He also claimed that he snitched for the feds — as first reported by The Smoking Gun this week — because the mob was threatening him.

Curington called all of that a tall tale.

He instead provided a detailed account of how Sharpton wined and dined a man he thought was a South American drug lord — and said Sharpton met him not just once, but three times.

They may do just that once the 59% tax increase hits them smack in the face. LOL

Just as obama's 5th summer of recovery approaches. Oh, well, people weren't going to drive much anyway. They have to use their gas money to pay their obamacare premiums.

  • A Thursday Huffington Post article highlighting obamacare victims is causing quite a stir on the left.

The piece, titled "How obamacare Leaves Some People Without Doctors," breaks from the Huffington Post's usual embrace of obamacare and features the voices of Covered California customers who are already dissatisfied with the health insurance they bought through the Covered California exchange.

"My insurance is pretty useless," 35-year-old new Los Angeles mother Ruth Iorio told HuffPo. "I don't know what to do. I may just drop it for myself and keep my son on it. It's really depressing." (Good luck with that. obama has made it almost impossible to drop your obamacare insurance.)

Iorio says her obamacare plan is worthless because after over a dozen calls, she still cannot find doctors who accept her obamacare plan who are also practicing in a hospital that accepts her coverage. Prior to buying through the California obamacare exchange Iorio had an individual Blue Shield plan that cost less and covered a wide array of doctors and hospitals. Iorio's plan is so bad that after giving birth to her son she learned her obamacare plan did not cover her UCLA ob-gyn, forcing her to pay out of pocket.

"I'm paying $500 a month and every doctor I'm calling is saying, 'No, I can't see you,'" said Iorio.

She added, "I feel like a second-class citizen." (Supposedly, 7.1 million fools signed up for this and that's all the lib loons want to talk about. They have not yet been sick and when they do get sick, they too will be second class citizens. Neat, huh?"

Of the plans that states have hatched for obamacare, none has been bolder than that of Vermont, which wants to implement a single-payer health-care system, along the lines of what you might find in Britain or Canada. One government-operated system will cover all 620,000 of Vermont’s citizens. The hope is that such a system will allow Vermont to get costs down closer to Canada’s, as well as improve health by coordinating care and ensuring universal coverage.

Just two small issues need to be resolved before the state gets to all systems go: First, it needs the federal government to grant waivers allowing Vermont to divert Medicaid and other health-care funding into the single-payer system. And second, Vermont needs to find some way to pay for it.

Although Act 48 required Vermont to create a single-payer system by 2017, the state hasn’t drafted a bill spelling out how to raise the additional $1.6 billion a year (based on the state's estimate) the system needs. The state collected only $2.7 billion in tax revenue in fiscal year 2012, so that's a vexingly large sum to scrape together.

  • "Give me a high five" said the clown, obama "we can get it even higher if we keep on closing those coal mines".

  • Why she wasn't fired months ago is unbelievable. Do you know any company that would put up with this poop?

Covered California’s Executive Director Peter Lee testified before a Congressional committee about the successes of obamacare in California. “It takes, in our mind, three things for an exchange to work. It takes having affordable health plans delivering quality care, it takes effective marketing outreach, and it takes effective enrollment,” Lee said. Sadly though, Californians newly enrolled in Covered California are facing the grim reality that the care they are receiving is neither affordable, nor quality. Few doctors are accepting the new health insurance plans, Californians say. One Californian woman told KPIX-CA, “This is not what we were promised.”

  • New Jersey Star-Ledger ^ | April 6, 2014 | By Susan K. Livio

While the federal government was trumpeting the benefits of obamacare to boost enrollment earlier this year, about 1,800 families in New Jersey were receiving letters telling them their children would be losing their health coverage last week.

obamacare — the federal law that mandates everyone have insurance — effectively killed FamilyCare Advantage, a low-cost option for kids in New Jersey.

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey was the only insurance carrier that agreed to offer the FamilyCare Advantage plan, which covered most medical, dental and vision needs for the relative bargain of $144 a month per child.

But it didn’t offer mental health treatment and several other services (such as abortions, sex-changes, birth control, etc.) obamacare requires, and that was the fatal flaw, said Sen. Joseph Vitale (D-Middlesex), who sponsored the law creating the program.
