obama's stimulus waste of money, one trillion dollars plus interest for years to come.

  • Meanwhile, 700,000 'soon to be born' black babies are aborted every year. The lib loon war on the minorities goes on. Is the plantation too small to handle the aborted?

  • Just one day before obama announced sweeping changes that would allow potential American investment in Cuba, the Cuban government apparently had begun preparing itself by announcing new measures that would allow Cubans who work for foreign companies to keep only 8% of their salaries.

In an official announcement in state newspaper Granma, government officials announced a system in which employees who work for corporations with foreign capital will be paid two Cuban Pesos for every Convertible Cuban Peso (CUC) the corporation actually pays them. The Convertible Peso (CUP) is almost exclusively for the use of tourists and is of significantly greater value; one CUC is the equivalent of an American dollar and the equivalent of 26.5 CUPs. The other 24 CUPs Cuban workers will not receive amount to 92% of their salaries.

  • It’s been almost five years since the passage of obamacare and its promise to “bend the cost curve downward” for Americans and their health care. More than five years have passed since the technical start of the recovery and the obama administration’s bragging about jobs and economic expansion. The two combined should produce noticeable improvement in the lives of Americans, yes? According to the latest CBS News poll, no

Fifty-two percent of Americans say they find basic medical care affordable, but that’s down from 61 percent last December. Today, for 46 percent of Americans, paying for medical care is a hardship, up 10 points.

Similarly, just over half of Americans are at least somewhat satisfied with their health care costs, while 43 percent are dissatisfied.

Americans are feeling the cost of their health care. Fifty-two percent say the amount of money they pay for out-of-pocket health care costs — those not covered by insurance — has gone up over the past few years, including a third who say those costs have gone up a lot.

Most attribute the rise of out-of-pocket costs to more expensive medical treatment, rather than an increase in the amount of treatment they are receiving.

  • Suicide Rate for Women Having Abortions is Six Times Higher Than Women Giving Birth
    Life News ^ | 12/19/14 | Amy Sobie

Voluntary guidelines for post-abortion mental health evaluations during the month following an abortion have failed to significantly decrease the rate of suicide after abortion in Finland, according to a new study.

Finland adopted the guidelines after a large-scale study of women’s health records, published in 1997, found that the suicide rate among women who had undergone abortions in the prior year was three times higher compared to women in the general population and six times higher compared to women who gave birth.

Mika Gissler of the National Institute for Health and Welfare, who was the lead author of the 1997 study, led a team of researchers who examined health records to see if the suicide rate went down after the new guidelines were published.

They found that the decrease in the suicide rate was not statistically significant.

“Women with a recent induced abortion still have a two-fold suicide risk,” they wrote. “A mandatory check-up may decrease this risk.”

  • Well, has he?

  • And they were not wearing boots. I understand their camouflaged house slippers are quite comfortable.

American troops just had their first real battle with Islamic State militants, after the terror group attempted to overrun Ein al-Asad base in Iraq in the middle of the night Sunday, the Kurdish news outlet Shafaq News reports. The U.S. troops absolutely decimated the militants, forcing a quick retreat. The counterattack was conducted in a joint operation with local tribal forces.

The attack occurred at Ein al-Asad base, which currently hosts nearly 100 U.S. military “advisers.” The U.S. troops engaged the militants in tandem with F-18 fighter jets, who provided air support. The battle lasted approximately two hours after an undisclosed number of militants were killed.

The elections have taken a toll.

  • midterms were a massive and awesome rejection of liberals and Progressives,

Southern Democrats control not a single governorship, US senator or legislative chamber,

73 percent of LA's white voters say they "strongly disapproved" of Obama,

Democrat losses stretch from the Carolinas westward to Texas,

Of 140 Southern States election districts---110 went Republican.

GOP House majorities are huge and solid.

NBC's Chuck Todd says Dems can't recapture losses until 2022,

    Some pundits say Republicans have a 100-year majority;

when the next US Senate convenes, 30 lock-stepping Democrats who voted for Obamacare are gone.

Ark and Ill (Clinton hometowns) have Repub governors---important in a prez race b/c guvs control party machinery.

  • In fact, no white man has ever become president with obama's credentials.

  • Nothing has changed? Landrieu clobbered in the bayous. Nothing has changed. obama's upset stomach puts him in the hospital with acid reflux. Nothing has changed. Half the lib loon senators that voted for obamacare are gone. Nothing has changed. Funny, huh?

  • That big headline number translated into just 4,000 more working Americans. There were, at the same time, another 115,000 on the unemployment line. That disparity can be explained through an expanding labor force, which grew 119,000, though the participation rate among that group remained at 62.8 percent, which is just off the year's worst level and around a 36-year low.

  • CNS ^ | 12/5/14 | Terence P. Jeffrey

Aliens illegally holding jobs in the United States outnumber all unemployed people who are not in management, professional or related occupations as well as all unemployed who are 25 and older and who do not have a college degree, according to an estimate of "unauthorized workers" published by the Chief Actuary of the Social Security Administration and employment data published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The BLS only counts as "unemployed" people who have actively looked for a job in the past four weeks.

  • CNS News ^ | December 5, 2014 | Ali Meyer

The labor force participation rate remained at a 36-year low of 62.8 percent in November, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The participation rate, which is the percentage of the civilian noninstitutional population who participated in the labor force by either having a job during the month or actively seeking one, was 62.8 percent in November which matches the percentage since March 1978.

In November, according to BLS, the nation’s civilian noninstitutional population, consisting of all people 16 or older who were not in the military or an institution, reached 248,844,000. Of those, 156,397,000 participated in the labor force by either holding a job or actively seeking one.

92,447,000 people did not participate in the labor force. These Americans did not have a job and were not actively trying to find one. When obama took office in January 2009, there were 80,529,000 Americans who were not participating in the office, which means that since then, 11,918,000 Americans have left the workforce
