If dilution is the only negative I'll take it. This makes the combined entity much stronger with much better liquidity, revenue flows and customer network. This will be highly accretive in a relatively short time. Buy while you can at these prices. Nice unexpected surprise.
Agree. Canadian/US energy companies and governments need to do more to help others build the much need LNG export facilities. Taking far to long. Encana and other producers need to get behind LNGLF's Bears Head LNG export terminal in Nova Scotia. Export coupled with increased use of Ng in power generation market will easily ease the glut. Not if but when.
Agreed. They be bale to hobble along until NGV get more traction. In the interim, if they improve operational efficiency and preserve cash flow they will be fine. While not a preferred route, they have lots of room to increase share count to raise additional capital but probably won't be necessary. Everything moving in the right direction and when China and India start getting serious about air pollution this technology will really take off. Not if but when.
Thanks for disseminating these growth stories about WPRT. All adding up to a big change slowly occurring in the US transportation business. Patience will be rewarded.
Very interesting, thanks. Incredible that in all that sea 2 small ships could collide. Whose fault was it and if the other party can NVGS claim compensation from them for BI/PD? Was it major damage? How long will she be laid up for?
They should cut the dividend to preserve cash. I'm sure it will get done before Christmas if prices stay where they are.
The cost is reduced revenues for OPEC from lower price of oil. Better off producing less and making more $$ per barrel. OPEC aren't and can't win this game.
It is certainly costing the Saudi's a lot to play this game. While their pockets are deep they are not as deep as the US economy. They will lose this game of chicken and they will capitulate this fall.
Agreed. Hopefully they will be more forthright with information in the future. They need to rebuild trust by being more transparent. Would also give them more press time and increase their profile in the investment community.
very good news for WPRT and CLNE...future getting better in so many different ways!
I'm a long time bull for this Company but do wonder if the reason they are doing this is to give bond holders a way of getting their money out of the Company before they do declare bankruptcy.
Yes if it could result in a major industrial change that results in more energy independence and cleaner burning vehicles resulting in less greenhouse gases. Solar was niche at one point at time and now look at the penetration it is making in alternative energy production. Ethanol is very niche and will remain that way in the US.
Of all the things that government has given a lift up with subsidies, NG is probably the best. Look at the sums wasted on ethanol which is more politically motivated. Solar lift up was questionable as well. NG needs a hand up to reduce the cost of NGV and the rest tales care of itself. If they can get demand to a point where there are enough NGV being purchased the price will come down markedly as well just like solar. We need to start using cheaper, cleaner, US produced NG wherever we can. It will happen but would happen faster with government assistance.
Agree with some of what you say but management was quite adamant in the cc that intact the lower price of oil and NG were beneficial for the Company. They need to get some of the financial writers to spread the good word about the Company as is relatively unknown as is their performance.
