I own both CUR and BCLI and I am very happy with both. Making a ton of money on both of them - and expect both of them to keep on climbing higher as the good news keeps on coming. So it is not a choice you need to make - you could own them both.
The NRs that we have been waiting on have finally arrived.
Drilling of the first 3 test wells in the Arck are now to begin with another 3 to likely follow shortly. This is huge news. When this proves positive the partners will be lining up - the potential is huge.
UCG operations to begin in Poland. This too is huge news especially if the other European countries and others follow suit.
Umiat has shown a flow that once raised by gas will show about 50,000 bb per day at eventual commercial operation.
Linc is really beginning to deliver on its promise in spades. Now is the time to get in near its low before it starts to run away.
I prefer to be in before the test at a much lower price rather than at a much higher price after the test went well as I hope.
I am a long on ONCS and own a fair amount of shares. Nevertheless I would very much appreciate it if another long would take the time to reply to the points made by penny.dung (hate that handle). so far this very long thread has been ad homonym rants againt him but no one actually spoke to the merit of the points he raises to refute them. Could someone please respond to these points on the merits so that I could sleep easy with my position in ONCS, espesially the issue of the non-exclusivity of the rights acquired from INO that, if true, basically means ONCS has a whole lot of nothing. I am sure that the people at ONCS are not that stupid so there must be a simple logical response and I would love to know what it is! Thanks
I looked for your responses buy have not found them. Can you please repost them as I would like to judge the merits of the response myself and not rely on your response not to worry about that at all. Thanks.
So what exactly does the phrase "a non-exclusive, worldwide license to certain non-SECTA technology patents held by it in consideration for the following" actually refer to? What in fact did ONCS license non-exclusively? Also what does SECTA technology mean? Finally, where then is the deal that does give ONCS the exclusive right to electroporation from INO?
Does this mean that ONCS will not need to pay royalties to INO as their license is not from INO but these other companies?
I have read the prospectus but the legalese was Chinese to me, so please enlighten with what you learned from it. I hope that was not just an evasion.
I am a heavy long in NWBO. Even so, some of the questions raised in the SA article had passed my mind as well. But that is not where I stopped. I had enough info to put these questions aside. Basically LP was the only source of funding when the co needed the money. I wrote a response to Biotech Hawk in the comments section on SA which I reproduce here:
Biotech Hawk, A simple explanation for why your cost comparison to IMUC is highly disingenuous is that in addition to the US trial NWBO was paying to build a European infrastructure which has led to the UK special consideration and the German essentially appproval for 5 years. I am certain that much of the money that you are wondering about went there - costs that IMUC (although I am long there too) never even dreamed about. (Aside from the other comments already mentioned by others in the comments as to why the trial costs themselves would be higher for NWBO vs IMUC such as what was actually produced per person in the trial). Finally, ultimately the fact that LP would take so much in "worthless" shares speaks volumes as to the true worth of those shares. While it is not certain at this time, DCVAX at least has a good shot at becoming the new paradigm in MOST cancer treatment. There are no other pharmas that even have shot at making that claim in my view. NWBO has the potential to be totally revolutionary!
Ya, it says a lot for some looking for penies with a horizon of several hours or days. It says absolutely nothing for someone in the stock for tens and possibly hundreds of dollars per share in the long term. A dime up or a dime down on any given day or week is meaniingless, A dime down just peovides a lower entry point for the long haul! So far up frm a three handle to a six handle and higher recently before the hit pieces and the general biotech malaise (which will be of no consequence when DCVAX eventually goes commercial).
would be giving the SA article some meaning to respond to it too quickly! Give her a couple of days to pass a few drafts before her accounting staff and attorneys. It will come.
New SA article out with very positive summary. the author does a pretty good job of summarizing the LNC (LNCGY) situation. Bottom line LNC is hugely undervalued. His secondary thesis is that Linc may be looking to self finance the drilling in the Arck keeping all the revenues in house.
How are you listening? Can you provide a link for us to listen as well?
Could you ask LP if the hullabaloo raised by AF and Dr. Buzz at MD Anderson has reduced the flow of updates on the unblinded trial and patient progress. Should we shortly expect more of these updates or not?
Also does she have a timeframe for when she expects the German insurance negotiations to be complete. Also have there been any patients willing to pay on their own started treatment in Germany? Also how much are they planning to charge these self pay patients in Germany?
The bottom line is that the FDA etc. have agreed that the pass on the trial is 4 months not the original 6 months. This can only seen as a major positive. It is like when your highschool teacher decided to mark the exam an a curve. That basically meant that more students passed than would have otherwise. that is basically what happened here - without even needing to get into the underlying reasons. The reasons for this may be interesting science but the top line tells you this is great news.
