Admittedly TSL hasn't earned a dime, but the market doesn't seem to care. SNFCA is a horrible company and I was lucky to get out with a small profit. Everyone and their brother has lost all faith in the firm and sold their shares, the shorts did a really wonderful job.
It was my fault for buying shares in a company just because they were undervalued. The market is the final word, and the market hates SNFCA, and the shares all this time later remain very undervalued.
Maybe somebody will take over who knows how to make a stock at least get to cash per share.
Hey, the firm has the worst PR in the world, hands down, there is no way that NFLX should be 120 times more expensive than this firm, but the market doesn't deal with reality, it's a hype machine, do these Mormon idiots at SNFCA not know this? I bought this thing at $6.33 and thought it was a great deal, that was months ago, now it's a better deal although. I wish that I never heard of them. I suppose most people feel that way and bailed, back when the p/e was a hoy 4.5, not the 3.8 it is now, it should be 15.
$660.00 pennies?, nice insult, I take it that you're in a losing position on the stock. Just simply type good trade next time if your jealous.
It wouldn't be a stock board unless someone posted the the "BIG BOYS" are up to something.
Hey you're that wanna be get a life idiot that posts this same message on all stocks that crash overnight. Wow, you should really get a life. Strange to think that in two years I'll have a Harvard MBA and you will be in your trailer doing the same thing, with a hang over. Oh well.
Quick in, quick out, nobody gets hurt. Well, it's off to the library, good luck with your trading.
Big Sell off
Looks like the market can't get enough of this one.
The bottom line is it was a good trade for him / or her, I assume him. Quick in and out, and not getting hung up on some 5 year plan which simply serves to rationalize a losing trade.
I was in at 1.10 and out at 1.58 for 10,000 shares.
Yea, it's very wierd, it seems that nobody wants to buy unless others do it first. I'm still down 10% on this damn thing. Hard to believe that so much garbage is flying around in the market and this just remains so undervalued.
No, they will say nothing, I'm in more than I should be on this one, to the tune of 20 grand, at a slightly higher price, on a TA basis it has "retraced" and held a "double bottom" so perhaps it can now begin the slow march to its real value. In the meantime I will continue to drop my R's and dodge the cold rain.
They are thinking that they can sell tiny pops and buy it back slightly cheaper, they are measuring TA not FA, and thus far it has worked, thus far.
I already did, now I just wait for the drift down, this thing trades in support and resistance levels, if it doesn't drift down I would be surprised, although unconcerned as there are 7,000 other stocks to choose from.
I still don't think the quarter was that great.
I wonder how long it will go on for? It's really strange to see a stock crushed like this on nothing, I understand shorting tactics create irrational fear and the like) however this was ridiculous, and it has a history of such strong bounce backs too. Oh well, being a fundamental value player certainly has its ups and downs.
p/e is a function of psychology and doesn't really reflect much other than that, I prefer to maeasure value in other ways, such as p/s, p/b, divided by growth, etc. In any event SNFCA is worth 16 at the time, however the (as you said) the momo players are gone, which is fine with me. In a year this could be in the mid 20's if they keep growing their EPS at the current rate.
