I'm not so sure it's as bad as it looks, don't get me wrong I took it in the #$%$ but it really looks like there may be potential and it's not as bad as it seems. Again, I took a hit so this won't mean much. I want to hear the audio and go through the numbers, but this thing might not be dead. I realize I'm going to get slammed by the shorts so go 'f' yourself before you even type a letter.
Glad I'm wrong up to this point...didn't see a whole lot of movement happening (predicted 5.60 close today) but so far so good. I'm going with around 6.00 if we can break $5.80 as a revised guess. Hope I'm wrong again and we break 6.
Do not see much movement during the day 5.60 ish at close
AH.... around $7 unless there is a significant increase in earnings but would love to see $8 though that's more than likely not going to happen.
Highly doubt it...there are too many skeptics on this stock...I'm guessing it doesn't move a whole lot or falls a little before the bell, though I would love for it to hit 6. 25 hours to earnings, I know I will be listening closely with my finger on the sell button just in case but I have a good feeling.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Your the one that better get out...the shorts won't win this one. (this guy only shorts...read his past posts)
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Thanks Charles... I will be selling all of my shares because you're not bright enough to figure out how Groupon works. Who knows, maybe there are a lot of idiots like you. Thanks for the insight, not sure what I would have done without you.
I just recently started posting but have been trading for 20+ years and have kept a close eye on boards for the last 10+ years. What you need to realize is everyone has an agenda...either long or short. Do your own DD on the info you find on message boards, I'm long GRPN but am very leery about the upcoming earnings. I think with Christmas and post Christmas sales things should be OK but if you look deeper the shorts could destroy this stock so be careful, especially if the earnings are as expected. I'm looking at the 4.50 covered call for July if things don't improve early Monday. There is no way this stock drops to $3 as some of these posters say. I really believe GRPN is finally getting things under control.
Highly disagree, I'm long GRPN but don't believe there will be any drastic change in price if GRPN meets or even beats the steet (unless it's substantial). I'm going to say a slight drive up to the mid 6's and that's about it. What it will do is continue a nice drive up over the spring and summer that could get it to that 7-8 range, again, if it meets or beats. I've got my finger on the covered call button this week though because if the price continues to fall before earnings, I have a really bad feeling.
