forgot about the wife- how long ago was she appointed to BOD? Everyone sells out at some point- baby boomers have proven that over and over- just as greedy as the next guy in the end despite all the feel good hey dude hippie facade nonsense.
ha...locks the CEO in the closet- I certainly hope so. Lest we forget Chris relinquished his autonomy the day he took the company public- the board of directors, COO, etc have to be saying the same thing we are- its time for a mutiny...er "vote". I look at the roster of beverage stock prices and we should be "there" even if it means going the acquisition route. The only thing in the way in Chris- always an irony in business- but its at that tipping point now.
I've been holding REED for several years and also love the products- but I have to believe with this new COO- Chris has got to hand over the reigns at some point. That old hippie is getting up there and I believe he has brought his public company to that infamous crossroad where its time to step aside and let experienced professionals take it to the next level. There's nothing in the way of making this the next Hanson, Snapple, etc- the time is right.
