I would be surprised if the dividend does not go up a little in the near future - maybe to 2.1 cents. After all, a 3 cent earning is about $960k per quarter. 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarter income easily covers that from a cash flow perspective, at least in my opinion, and still allows for a slight dividend increase. And they are already loaded with cash anyway. --- just my opinion, we'll see when the time comes
8 would be about 65% of tangible book value. Doesn't make sense to me, but.....I suspect i55590 has a point - incredible option activity in the 13 -14 range. Drive down the price and the options become worthless (or you make free money, depending upon which side of the deal you are on)
sometimes. I think a lot of what is going on right now is option traders trying to keep the price below $13.50, at least tomorrow.
Just think, this is a stock that is over 10% below tangible book value!
I agree with you, tig1. They are still buying back shares, although at perhaps a slightly slower rate. I wouldn't be surprised at all to hear that Mr. Buffet is encouraging that activity
interesting perspective - my take was accumulation anticipating a fairly good 4th quarter report. For me, "fairly good" I in the range of .029-.033), but that' just my personal perspective. I think we will se tomorrow
