These misses give me pause for concern when I saw slide 11 on the shareholder conference call, as that portends best case scenario of $250 million in potential sales. They did say we have $60 million in back orders, but let's see what the company can and does produce. Progress is not moving fast enough. They might get zero (I hope that's not the case), but they did not come through for us last year due to glitches with technology that pushed earnings into this quarter. I hope there are no more glitches.
There was big fanfare for Purolator and the 'greening of the fleet'. That did not materialize for us. Why?
There was big fanfare for overcoming lead acid batteries for forklifts on a large scale. That did not materialize for us. Why?
There was big fanfare for cell phone towers in India. That did not materialize for us with Commscope, because of the continued renegotiations as they tried to get our price down and we threw up our hands.
All opportunities had big fanfare. The company stopped speaking about them. They just kind of dropped it without explanation. If anyone knows the answers to, "What happened, and why?" I'd like to know. Thanks.
Now that is some thoughtful, creative thinking. I don't understand what the nexus would be, though. Do you think that is our $90 million client? Good observation about the Merkel, Cook meeting. Thanks for the post.
The delay in shipment does concern me if quality issues continue. It's a big deal. We are drifting lower and lower. That also concerns me. It's hard to have patience for 8 years. It's really time for this company to land some big deals. They also need to go back to the Stuart Energy clients (a company we bought years ago) and increase growth from there.
