The point is: to publish a review that is false and can be proved so by the owner-- is libel under
the laws of most states. Homeaway should study journalism law--- it's reviews are not exempt from the
law on libel (lies in print). H-away has a duty to check out every alleged lie brought to its attention.

Homeaway reps say you agree to allow Homeaway to libel you when you sign their agreement.
This is outrageous and disgraceful behavior. Texas law takes precedence over H/away agreements.
And once these are published it is impossible for an owner to defend himself
from the remarks which are untrue. this is libel if homeaway published
these lies and was told so by the owner that these were lies and proves it.
libel laws in texas are strong and meant to publish newspapers and
sites like homeaway that permit such lies. get a good lawyer and defend
your rights against distasteful guests to your property. homeaway needs
to pay for the damage it compounds to owners' properties.
