Another thing about the shelf, typically the stock will gain new analyst coverage or get an upgrade within a month after the completion of the shelf. I am buying on the dips.
The action today was short selling early and covering later. Don't confuse it with a "liquidation" of a large position. These push-downs happen just prior to a good jump in stock price. PPS of ACLS could see new 52 week highs shortly.
A well-connected shelf can consolidate in days. This does explain the stall in price movement. Once complete, this could jump 50 cents before year end.
Pretty crazy. Ask is now 0.35 but still represents a lack of downward pressure. Of course, it could be some manipulation going on to entice new buyers to come in.
So far today the ASK has not dropped below 0.45. No volume yet, but it would make for an interesting day if someone bought in at the current ask. Good luck to all those long-timers out there.
