As to Yellen losing credibility, I think her guidance has be pristine. Banks don't like her because she hasn't raised their profit margins by rate increases.
As to Brexit, doesn't matter to me. I invested in VGK and EWU because, when you think about it seriously, a company does business with consumers and other companies in all countries where they can do so REGARDLESS of EU. Brexit is to me all baloney.
Spain, Portugal, Greece are not even on my radar other than to watch the pundits use them as pawns in their trading ups and downs.
As to ICLR, great company, great backlog, supreme balance sheet, by far the best in its niche.
Agree. Balance sheet is pristine.
Probability of intensive care supply need increases with demographics.
I thus took this opportunity to pick some up.
This would be a great acquisition because it has operations worldwide on both sides of the world, including India.
The greatest $500 billion money transfer in history.
I do thing AAPL should hold the $74.29 support level.
China is just switching over to domestic smart phone manufacturers, entertainment vendors, payment systems and social media.
China has decided there is nothing new to learn from these foreigner companies they can now do without.
A highly probable and feasible buyout source would be to take CALM private.
The profile of privatized companies is primarily based on degree of certainty of the product or service of the company. Eggs are most certainly a basic certainty. The second most important is whether or not it is among the largest in the niche and CALM certainly meets that criteria. A company with significant growth potential is another criteria. Finally a company with a pristine balance sheet is a prime target.
Lobbying won't work with Cruz who could possibly be our next President.
If Cruz or Rubio is elected Obamacare is toast immediately upon swearing in unless they are lying to win (which is highly probable).
Eggs are one of the least expensive sources of protein and by far the least expensive source of complete protein.
One large whole egg contains 6.28 grams of protein, containing all nine essential amino acids (amino acid that cannot be synthesized by you).
Eggs also contain all 11 non-essential amino acids.
The "semi-essential" amino acids are also needed to support human life but need not be consumed (you can create them).
The egg white contains all 20 amino acids
Eggs Amino Acid
Yes Aspartic acid---(semi-essential)
Yes Glutamic acid---(semi-essential)
Yes. It could strike again.
But. It might not strike again.
Last year it did not strike CALM.
Last year it did strike the competitors.
Republicans are just trying to take the White House.
Will the ever reverse Obamacare no matter who is in office?
Acquisition sharks might include: Koch brothers, one of many China agriculture companies, hedge funds, Monsanto, Syngenta, Mosaic, Agrium, Dupont/Dow, Cargill Fertilizers, and probably 100 more possibilities. The only real inhibitor to a takeover would be the Government of Canada.
The target population exceeds Disney World which is about 225 million Americans.
The target population exceeds Disney Land which is about 225 million.
It nearly exceeds the target population of both which is 335 million.
To top it off Star Wars movie release is going to be a bonanza in China this year (just being released)
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Over 10 years of extremely high short percentage of float.
Over 10 years of extremely high stock price appreciation.
One consideration that bothers some longs is the high short position which, in my view, isn't much to worry about considering the stock has been heavily shorted for 10 years a period during which the stock rose from $2.60 to $47.50 or 1827%. To that 1827% you can add in that nice dividend. For those hedging their long position those above the money calls have an excellent premium also.
