    wind is good

    Gas is very expensive now!
When your look at the cost to get it out of the ground, it is extremely expensive and getting more so. The only thing that keeps gas prices down at this time, is that when gas was trading above $8, between 2005 thru 2008, there was a lot of people searching for more. This led to the gas market being flooded with the current on-line liquidity. Just wait a little longer. As supplies diminish, the real cost for harvesting gas from the earth will make wind energy a steal'n deal.

Why do we have to "KNOW" from you in secret at your email address. Come on Fritzy. FRITZY, just put the information out here on the "public mail boards" for all to see. If you have it, post it !!!
Stop screwing around with excuses; unless you really don't have viable information on OPTT!

    Please tell us the truth!
It matters; especially when we are investing our hard earned (manual labored) dollars.
You seem to speak as if OPTT's technology is up and running; yet wherever I have checked the historical record (which doesn't lie!) they have not finished one single project. NOT ONE!!!!!! Just a track record of incomplete testing. WHY??? I want to know the truth!
Please let me know FRITZY! Just the TRUTH!

  • You need an Ocean-full of MONEY to get these power-buoys producing continual, dependable, and affordable electricity for the world.

Dollars, Pounds, Euros,Yen, etc. is not enough. It will take SOMA-more to fool people that this power generating system is viable at this time in earth history.

Thanks keef for all the "wires" from OPTT to show how dismal they are at performance!

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

You can't read the hand-writing on the wall? Come-on! OPTT is a burning (i.e. -" sinking") capitalization disaster. You can't change the record! It speaks for itself. A "PIG" is a pig!

These fellows at OPTT have performed in an atrocious manner in all of their projects around the world. Do you think the Aussie project, which has been floundering for some time, will be any different?

  • hemmerrob hemmerrob Feb 22, 2014 4:09 PM Flag

WOW! 8 years ago! Those-guys at OPTT (35 or soooooo) are sure fast at getting our borders protected. Is this a joke or something.
I guess Timmmmmmmme will tell! LOLOLOLOLOL!

Nobel Prize-winning economist George Akerlof wrote about how corporate executives often have incentives to loot their own companies by extracting as much value for themselves now without regard to the long-term health of their company.

    Rex Nutting stated today:
"...while some CEOs add real value to their company, many others are mediocre at best....The market that determines CEO pay is fixed, like a kangaroo court. CEOs aren’t paid according to the value they bring to their company; their pay is set using a method that’s guaranteed to inflate CEO salaries without any relation to value added. And once CEO salaries are inflated, so are all the other salaries and compensation packages for top executives."

Say Hello!!! .... to the "Wizard of OPTT", Dr. George W. Taylor!

Keep up the good work keef. You have many great postings about the green energy scams. Keep educating the sheep. Maybe you will save a few more from the "Wall Street Wolves"!

Thanks for your answer. It isn't quite complete, since it lacks some fundamental analysis of
OPTT. Thanks again for your efforts. I do appreciate it!

  • " My market viewpoint changes with the evidence, " spoken recently and wisely from an investment counsellor.

All you "PUMPERS" in OPTT, please show "THE EVIDENCE" where OPTT has completed one project they have begun satisfactorily. WHERE IS THEIR SUCCESS???? FUNDAMENTALS MATTER! Oh, I forgot, you just want to make money off of momentum trading; screw the fundamentals and those seeking "a sound company" to invest in.

All I hear is the stupid comments about "you shouldn't short because you will get punished". The recent trading activity in OPTT has little to do with shorting and much to do about fund raising.
This "pedal to the metal" ATM capital raising by the boys at OPTT in my mind is despicable.

Please show me some historical authentication validating your investment thesis in OPTT if you even have one. "A wish" for another "clean energy source" is not evidence. Please, give only substance in your answer. Thank you, very much!

I have yet to hear any case put forth by teebrane, friztwestfall, or any other pumper to justify investing in OPTT, outside of a rehash of some PR media hype dribble. Please state the case through references from quarterly reports from OPTT and the track record/ progress reports on all of their projects. I REALLY WANT TO KNOW! I want to know if I have misunderstood "the OPPORTUNITY IN OPTT". I am waiting for your courteous response.

  • 70 million shares has changed hands a week ago in 3 days on a 10 million share float that has no more than 6% of stock shorted???? This is ridiculous!

This is not a short squeeze and seems very unusual considering OPTT makes no money, but just consumes boat loads of investment capital showing almost nothing for it. What is up?

My thought is they are using this contrived media blitz about their Australia project to raise a lot of capital fast while they still can, seeing that their "BUOYs ARE SINKING". With all the trading that has gone on recently, I would be surprised if they didn't at least issue 10 million more shares through their stock holders "diluting ATM machine". Of course their is no dilution until another 2 years goes by, wasting and burning $20 million/year with not much to show for it.

Their only hope is for the Intellectual property to be bought up by a BIG PLAYER. Until then they will still just burn through cash. Hard to believe that company with less than 35 employees can burn so much capital up and show nothing for it.

Where have you been "blow"? I have missed your rude bashing. BWEN having no margins has be for years. The turn around is in process. When they have 2 consecutive quarters of 5% or more, are you going long, "blow"? As they turn a profit, those profitless years will be converted into cash reserves through their NOL's. It is coming "blow"! Are you still short?

I was busy yesterday and was not able to read your post until now.
Great thoughts! As you point out, there is no money in wave power now or in the near future.
The only thing Lockheed should do is to start investing serious money in R&D themselves into wave power. OPTT is way too small without any pockets to fund this stuff. They should just sell off the IT, close doors, and let a legitimate company carry forward their work.

  • hemmerrob hemmerrob Feb 14, 2014 4:07 PM Flag

That is right, what ds693 says about OPTT's past joint ventures. Nothing. No, nothing. NO, NOTHING!!!!!!...has come of OPTT's past joint ventures!

Come on quant programs, GET TO WORK! Take BWEN UNDER $7 Again so we can start loading up the truck. If the opportunity does not arise, so be it. It is still a buy under $20!
I have been long BWEN for 4 years now, knowing when I started to accumulate shares, that a total restoration into a rock solid industrial company would take until 2018. BWEN right now is at the launching site taking off to fly long and high.
Peak wind installations are probably 10 to 20 years down the road in this country. The future looks very rewarding!

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

The share count is over 12 million at the last report. teebrane, you will know in June how much OPTT accessed their ATM stock selling machine. They keep doing this on all existing share holders backs, so they can keep up the cash burn rate of $15 to 20 million per year (probably lining their pockets). In 2 years it is over for OPTT; unless they raise a bunch more cash selling stock into all this PR stunting! The June quarterly report will define how much more they diluted existing share holders. It must be tough with all the business OPTT has to put their reporting out sooner than 70 days past the quarter's end. With all that volume of mythical business, it must be confusing, you know.

  • hemmerrob hemmerrob Feb 13, 2014 10:45 PM Flag

tee, You are soooo smart! I just started selling into this stupid PR blitzing and got out over the last 4 months. For all I know, tee, you are Keef, playing both sides!

  • hemmerrob hemmerrob Feb 13, 2014 10:41 PM Flag

fritzy, Why do you try and tell us we were not long?... when we were! I was long thousands of shares and finally came to the conclusion that OPTT will not be successful in the next 5 years. If they can last 10 more, then you may reap rewards! I think they will run out of cash in 2 years though, but maybe with all this pumping going on, they will increase their float by another 10 million shares and last much longer. I don't trust those 30 something people who are OPTT!!!
