Bummer for the buyer of those. I was looking to sell calls yesterday, but feared losing this stock. It's a volatile stock and I think underestimated which makes me hold my position. I was looking to add another 2000 shares to round out at 10,000 and sit it out. I think any company that can make money at these highs and innovate is worth holding. I consider GTAT a safe growth stock. One of the things people don't mind spending money is on phones. I personally am going to upgrade to this new iPhone after using Android for years. I have a Samsung 4 bought several months ago and not impressed. They are always doing upgrades to the phone and screwing things up and not crazy about the operating system any more. I think Apple will carry GTAT, but I feel they have enough uses for sapphire (commercial, other retail uses, military, etc) and along with their other products and manufacturing processes to carry their own. Lastly, I will watch the chart. If they bring this down again in the low 17's then I will consider picking up more if markets are not selling off.
Funny you talked about this stuff. I was thinking of some type of solar type installation on Tesla myself. Not as technical as you, but there are always possibilities.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I say we retest resistance at old high in 2-3 weeks. If we break it and the good news is confirmed regarding sapphire, we might be seeing mid to high 20's September sometime. If those phones sell like hot cakes, we might be seeing 50-60 by end of the year.
Means the shorts will be paying 100 bucks a share. Hope they went to Costco and stocked up on the Kleenex to dry up their tears.
I agree with you that Europe is watching to see if any unusual adverse drug reactions are reported.
I'm impressed that his hit pieces are not having the effects that they used to. He's made his point numerous times that he thinks the whole thing is a hoax so why not shut up already unless there are ulterior motives.
Yes, ask how many patients' treated in Germany if they a hard count. Also, are they seeing more and more German neurologists using this as a treatment and do they (German neurologists) have a protocol as far as how long after radiation/resection/chemo.
When will revenues from Germany be recorded on the books? How much so far received from Germany if so? Are they able to disclose how many Euro's the total treatment will cost the Germans' per patient?

Very interesting how this nut times his articles when some positive news comes for NWBO. It's not a coincidence any longer and I would hope SEC does investigate him and Cramer.
You have to watch the video on You Tube how Cramer talks about various manipulations done by the big guys to shake folks out of stocks and buy cheaper. Pretty sick, but this is how the world works unfortunately. The good thing is that with Internet these scams can be exposed and some folks are getting wiser.
Yesterday, the pharmacist I was working with said I have a Belviq script. No kidding. It was a refill. Copay in the $135ish range. Not cheap and this can be a hindrance to filling, as Spencer Osborne, has mentioned on SA.
On the bright side, I was surprised to see the daily count of Belviq to move from 32 to 13 in one day. That used to take about a week. Our supplier reordered drug and shows 100 again. It is nice to see weekly numbers approaching 11,000. Maybe this week?
On the negative side, I am awaiting Contrave. I would hope it wouldn't sell well, but will wait and see. I would consider adding at these prices to what I have remaining, but will watch this closely. As Osborne mentioned, maybe it will bring some legitimacy to the weight loss meds and lower copays overall.
The chart is strong. 200 was tested and FAILED. I'm looking at the 1 year chart. We broke above the 50 day average and holding. Also, the 20 is moving up and for me this shows short term sentiment is positive. RSI is around 57 so not overly bullish. Looking good. I think we'll be retesting highs in a matter of time. If before the iPhone announcement then expect 20's after Apple announces sapphire inclusion in new iPhone's.
What I'm really interested is all the other uses of sapphire in robotics, vehicles, any gadgets, etc. There lies the growth story. Also, I'm seeing more and more solar in the neighborhoods. Good for GTAT.
Solid growth stock.
I totally agree with you. This is a growth stock with sustaining profits. The knuckleheads that keep downing this stock with pay with their dollars. You know what, I like their dollars too!
I honestly don't know what you guys are smoking. Must be our potent California bud.
The answer is: SALES.
Hey Georgia Peach! You better watch that Ebola virus over there. I sincerely hope that Doc recovers. Not sure why they would bring him over this side of pond. I, for one, would weather it out abroad. Just give me plenty of fluids and let the chips fall where they fall. Too risky to take the chance bringing that virus over here.
Interestingly, I came upon this today.
There is no approved cure for Ebola and no proven vaccine to prevent the disease. Part of the problem, beyond the difficulty in developing reliable treatments, has been a lack of interest from drug companies, given that Ebola has affected relatively few people compared with many other diseases.
The drug cocktail the two Americans received, known as ZMapp, was developed by the San Diego company Mapp Biopharmaceutical. It is manufactured in Kentucky using fast-growing tobacco plants, which act as “photocopiers” to produce proteins that are extracted from the plants and processed into the drug, said a spokeswoman for Kentucky BioProcessing, the company that works with Mapp. CNN first reported the name of the serum given to the Americans.
The medication builds on previous efforts to develop anti-Ebola drugs — one that involved the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases and another that was a collaboration between the Public Health Agency of Canada and a private company in that country.
This is chart watching time. I'd like to see where the channel settles. Buy in the low side and await the new iPhone. Wammo, bammo, and the shorts will go scurrying like cockroaches. It will be fun taking their money.
You Longs are brain washed and cannot discriminate good info from your bad. Still here with you knucklehead longs. He has been the most objective of all posters I've read.
