seems like everybody is jumping on you because you stated "your analysts". by virtue of that the discussion on gild is diluted. What a bunch of clowns such people are. I think you are too the point and on target via via gild. I am also buying more. usually I dollar cost average and buy them all the time .

Best posting of the day! Great advise! Your advise is being taken and seriously worked on. You seem to know what you are doing and that is the most important thing in this climate.

  • As I am talking the pundits, the aalysts and the economists are writing, thinking, talking and publishing articles regarding september and october. To run the market down there will be articles stating that September and October are bad for the market. All B.S. will be given to run the market down so they can (a)either cover their short positions cheaply or (b)buy your shares cheaply. Then in November and December they will try to sell them back to you at a higher price by writing good articles and saying things like "recommended list" "strong buy". This way we end up selling cheaply and then buying expensively and the analyst, the economists profit from both sides. PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THIS AGE OLD TRICK.

levenstein3 I was laughing so loudly when I realised that you were trying to fake the real "levinstein3.It is a pretty low down gutter behavior but it did give me some chuckles. you know you could set yourself as "arzhole 3" and still make me laugh or "Laxative sheet face 3" and still make everybody laugh.

    O. K. let me try to be nice and tender an apology. But gilead also beat Reuters' estimate so why the downgrade? They will say anthing to run the market down so short punks can cover their short positions. Soon they will change their color and call it a great buying oportunity.

keybd29 I did not see any downgrade. I know you want to send money to your country so they can buy more but that's not the way to do it punk. You have to be honest in reporting punk and not make up things as you go along punk.

  • Please read an article by Maxwell Meyers "Fear not, the VIX is indicating a buy signal". Shorts need to cover now and ride with an up market.

you totally missed my point. I am not talking about a few "individuals" who go in and out of the market and in the end end up with nothing to show (the brokers made money on them and we have all done that in our lives). I am talking of the goonds who as a company i.e. a big time holder such as option traders and day traders with big holdings who short the market and then cover at a cheaper price and scoop up the difference. They do that en-masse and they do that deliberately and deligentlay and with a purpose i.e. to get themselves rich at the expense of others. To achieve that they have to create an environments of mass hysteria to scare the longs like me into selling e.g. Greek Crisis, Europe Crisis, Oil Crisis, M.East Crisis, Flu Crisis, Bird Flu Crisis, Ukraine Crisis, Spain Crisis, Italy Crisis, Ubola Crisis (this is the latest one), Argentina Crisis , Iran Crisis, Iraq Crisis, Environment Crisis, Unemployment Crisis, etc. etc. All this done to #$%$ the simple regular Joe (like me) into selling which causes the price to fall and Walla they cover their positions cheaply. Then like a cancer they move to another stock or another stock market . Once done then suddenly they change their color like a snake in the garden Eden "well it was over done but we think such an such company is a great buy, bargain price, strong buy, recommended list, have to have list". Then they get to make money once again over your dead bones by selling the same stock at a higher price. And what about the fact , when they could not find any fault with aapl they downgraded aapl on "moral grounds". Da Da Da ! What is that?

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Once again I see the longs bullied, beaten , bruised, bonked, boxed, brainwashed into submission by the smart, clever, cunning, cox sugars shorts. And for what? Today the factory order rose, service sector came out with great outstanding results, Goldman Sachs said stocks are the way to go and not bonds and Mr. Buffet expressed his interest to invest the $60 or billion he his holding as cash. The shorts had a field day because their lie canard, their propaganda machine works like a "well oiled machine" while the submissive longs are like goats and sheep i.e. easily way laid and slaughtered. Shame on you longs for falling into this trap every single day. What is a tin pin country like Russia got to do with us. By the way oil continues to fall and it fell today too. Sometimes I wish to bend in front of the shorts and give them my salute except I am afraid that if I bend they may try to be nasty with my back side. You know what I mean. Those ugly shorts who I saw laughing on the elevator today are capable of doing anything. Longs, what is wrong with you people: we have low fuel cost, no inflation, low int. rates, great retail sales and profits, good housing, lower unemployment , banks , autos, aircraft manufacturing etc. etc. are doing great so what is the problem? IT expenses are up, Electronic Medical Records implementations is in full swing, Bio and Tech are hot and promising etc. etc. So what is the problem. Is it the thug analysts influencing yo?. Are the goonds economists influencing you ? What is it?

although I disagree with lots of his policies, the current president is doing o.k. via via the economy. the republicians are in a rage on account of this and they are utterly jealous hence the continous on-slaught against the market and the economy. I swear if the GDP was negative then they would be bit_chying about that today. SIMPLE JEALOUS OVER SOMEBODY'S ELSE'S SUCCESS ON ACCOUNT OF WHICH SIMPLE PEOPLE LIKE ME TRYING TO MAKE TWO ENDS MEET AND PUT AWAY SOME MONEY FOR THE FUTURE SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES OF A DOWN MARKET.

  • Had a day off yesterday and watched some great business reports. All talked about technology expansion, innovation, increase in IT spending. All talked about the research and quest to find better drugs and R & D to expand and make available drugs to better our life and future. Then we have Ms. Yellen talking out of her sphere of knowledge regarding Tech and Bio. I bet she still uses honey and lemon for all maladies. She uses two tin cans and a thread as a phone and takes a horse and a buggy to work. It goes like this "buggy man buggy man how much will it cost me to take me to the Fed. Reserve". Without being funny, my friends tech and bio tech is the buzz word and they are truely under valued and most have a very low PE ratio.

I know you try to be funny and what not. Never the less your messages carry a subject matter to it's conclusion. I like to read your messages and they carry a meaning and mostly make sense. I have a feeling that you are well read specially in economics hence your predictions are mostly true. Keep up the good work ol'chap.

    Thank you.

p.s. not trying to brown nose you. Just feel that somebody ought to appreciate you.

Amgen was down $2.69 yesterday but today it seems to be up by between $9 to $10. I thank my luck stars=towards the close yesterday I jumped into the bio sector and bought 155K worth of mutual fund with Amgen as a major holding. I have recommended to others to do the same. According to the articles I have been reading bios and techs are supposed to rise sharply starting now due to extensive research and positive outcomes.
