    GGN Headed to $8

    Hi Jus_foolin_around,

How did you arrive at your $8 price for GGN? Obviously it is tied to the price of gold. So what do you think is going to drive the price of gold down to cause GGN to go to 8?

Also what do you think cause the current sell-off of gold? And the answer isn't the gold bull market is over. Be specific in your rational.

    LNCO vs. LINE

LINE issues a K-1 at tax time which complicates filing tax return. LNCO does not. I own both and after sorting through all the complications of entering K-1 data on to appropriate tax forms the small amount of income which is tax deferred isn't worth a hill of beans.

Plus LNCO is far better to own in an IRA or ROTH w/o K-1 complications which that can happen in those tax preferred accounts.

I am selling all mu LINE and buying LNCO.

No doubt there will be a law suit file on CHKR and also SDR.

Also no doubt those of us who lost a bundle will get a check for less then $100 and most likely less then $25 while the lawyers who didn't lose a cent walk away with a bundle.

I rarely participate in such law suits. The time it takes to put the paper work together isn't worth the pennies I might get in return.

Leaked CHKR buy out report, look at this!

How long does it take to get the report? I sent for mine this afternoon at about 3PM and thus far not a smell.

  • There are several conflicting stories going around about SDR which are causing distrust in the market. The main one i believe which is causing this is that SDR prospectus promised a minimum monthly payment of 60+ cents per quarter. When that was not met in the last quarterly payment complete distrust occurred. There are also stories that the amount of NG is higher than was anticipated which is another negative given the low market price for NG. Until SDR shows a better dividend record in line with the prospectus it will languish at these levels. In the meantime this could be a buying opportunity if you have the stomach for it.

How will the SD trusts react

Unless SDR is a complete swindle it would appear that we have either hit or are about to hit key reversal day when all those who wanted out have sold and the only ones left are the holders and buyers.

SDR is trading as if the wells are dry. Can't believe that. The last dividend although lower then what was expected is still respectful enough to command higher price for the stock.

Some have written that SDR and similar trusts are a depleting asset play. True but it isn't as if all the oil is pumped out of the ground in one month. The only negative for SDR is the percentage of lower priced NG being pumped from the wells.

    Sentiment: Buy

    Form K-1 required?

The entire income tax process as an insult to the American citizens. Even w/o a K-1 at least 50% of citizens could not fill out a 1040 if their life depended in it. As for Accountants they charge way too much for merely keying in data into a computer. The hard pay is collecting all the data. Cannot imagine an easier job. Entering numbers into a computer which is self prompting and then collecting $400 to $500 for on or two hours work.

I have several K-1s and have always done my own tax returns. The most time consuming part is assembling the data.

My cousin heads up a group of about 50 people who do most returns for free. They do not do the ones with K-1s but they will do those with stock sales. AGAIN FOR FREE!
