Looks like the Big buck boys are playing this stock lately. 1/2 cent moves and low volume. They must need an armoured car to carry all the money their making. Jag has still got some big hoops to go through yet. The big stock holders are fighting this. Time will tell.

I'm with you. In till the end at this price. It makes me sick how the shorts can manipulate a stock. I'd just love to see them get burned.

BELO HORIZONTE, Brazil, May 3, 2013 /CNW/ - Jaguar Mining Inc. ("Jaguar" or the "Corporation") (TSX:JAG.TO - News) (NYSE:JAG - News) is pleased to announce that the board of directors of the Corporation has adopted a shareholder protection rights plan, effective May 2, 2013 (the "Rights Plan"). The objective of the Rights Plan is to ensure, to the extent possible, that all shareholders of the Corporation are treated equally and fairly in connection with any initiative to acquire control of the Corporation.

The Rights Plan is not intended to and will not prevent a take-over of the Corporation. The purpose of the Rights Plan is to encourage a potential bidder to make a "Permitted Bid", having terms and conditions designed to meet the objectives of the Rights Plan, or to negotiate the terms of an offer with the board of directors of the Corporation. A Permitted Bid is a take-over bid that is made to all holders of voting shares of the Corporation (other than the bidder), by way of a take-over bid circular prepared in compliance with applicable securities laws, that remains open for acceptance by shareholders of the Corporation for 60 days, and that satisfies certain other conditions.

The Rights Plan must be confirmed by shareholders within six months of its effective date. The Corporation currently intends to seek shareholder approval of the Rights Plan at its next annual and special meeting of shareholders to be held on June 10, 2013.

The Corporation is not aware of any specific take-over bid for the Corporation that has been made or is contemplated.

MAYBE the last quarter report is going to have some meat in it. They need a good report to keep from delisting.

It's usually a bad sign when the CFO quits. He's looking for greener pastures. Let's hope I'm wrong.

For the past 2 days, the volume has been half or more of normal trading. This tells me the following.

    1. Sellers want more than .58.
    2. Co. is holding price @ .57 buy dumping small amount of shares very time we get close to .58
    3. @ 5 or 600,000 volume its going to take awhile for them to buy the .57 shares.

    4. Watch how long it takes for a transaction when we get close to .58.

    This stock is totally manipulated.

  • hollandhorses by hollandhorses Aug 2, 2010 7:03 PM Flag

Some dumb --- trying to force the up trend down by selling a whole 100 shares for .55 after hours..

This stock is being manipulated. I think we'd be in the $1.00 range if not for the above idiots.

Kutz must have never went to school.
    BITUMEN

Bitumen is a mixture of organic liquids that are highly viscous, black, sticky, entirely soluble in carbon disulfide, and composed primarily of highly condensed polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.

Naturally occurring or crude bitumen is a sticky, tar-like form of petroleum which is so thick and heavy that it must be heated or diluted before it will flow. At room temperature, it has a consistency much like cold molasses.[1] Refined bitumen is the residual (bottom) fraction obtained by fractional distillation of crude oil. It is the heaviest fraction and the one with the highest boiling point, boiling at 525 °C (977 °F
