I guess it could happen but understand its against Evan's interest to go chap 7. He wants to keep the gig going sort of speak. Im sure he wants MHR to continue operating but under new ownership (debt holders). Thats the conflict between shareholders now and manangement now.
They have like 25% unoccupied office space in their own portfolio. Are they too good for their own office space??? Good grief.
Sad but true. Seems like the culture changed after the ONEX deal in 2012 if you ask me. More about management and less about shareholders. Ive slowly reduced my position here but still want to sell more. Hoped to sell at 20 / bucks a share when I invested in 2010. Now 14/ share looks good.
honestly they are transferring blame to some 3rd party. You know Colm and the gang think up this stupid shEt and sit back and laugh.
... and that is why I said "culture" and not structure.
No not revisionist history. Before the ONEX sellout, they were buying up stock, bonds and dealing planes on the cheap without issuing stock (at least secondaries wouldn't be considered then). They would also have a profit on any aircraft dispositions now and then. Seems like they are just ONEX indoor cats now as opposed to the earlier stewards of investor's capital.
all this for a $17 sell out price? We were just about there 2 years ago. THen they did a secondary, but NOW they need a buyback. Make up your mind.
well then wouldnt the divy sellers just tender their shares instead of sell at these market prices? I mean it will be more than the current market else why would anyone tender?
