Why are you looking for the numbers on Monday; that's why I think the stock has been depressed....because we are having to wait longer. I'm going to hang in there personally. The CEO did not say "estimated" in the last release. He said "great revenues" in the next 60 days. He's taking a legal risk to make a cut and dried statement like that. So, I have no expectations in this report at all, but do the next. Again, you can act on this report....I'll wait for the next and the one after that; then I'll grow judgmental if things don't happen. Companies are notorious for expecting things too quickly. The merger with Veloxum just closed this past summer.....Gee whiz....have just a tad of patience. They didn't "start" promising any revenue improvement until after that merger. You act like it happened years ago. Shoot, if they can accomplish a merger and turn it into "great" revenues in 6 to 9 months time, that's lightning fast, IMO.
one other thing; revenues can't show in this report; the press release did not say that. The revenues should show up in the next report....if I read that comment about great revenues in the next 60 days correctly.
Thanks Steve....PVA has been super volatile; great for trading. When oil bottoms (and it will)....wow! People will look back...woulda, coulda, shoulda.
It will take some doing for me to ever own a stock to catch IFON; that has proved to be the best one for me, bar none, including DXPE.
IFON literally restored, and more, what happened when BFDI went down to about a dime from the high in the .70s (and BFDI has done much better since, thankfully, but it "hurt"). My .70 cost average position in IFON last December, I sold at average of upper 3s; ended up buying back over half the share count back close to 2 and repeated....and then a third go round. I could not believe it. Now, I have a big position in IFON, averaged in this go round about 1.65..... (but my position did not use even a third of the prior "profit"; and I think IFON is going to be closer to 3 in April than where it is now. It has a lot of shorts on it; is now trading at tangible book (all net working capital, btw, no fixed assets and no debt); mgt. says the next quarter will likely outpace the prior year quarter and that one was the all-time record quarter for IFON since becoming a proprietary phone vendor; IFON just got a credit line increase from 2 to 4M. I think it's going to give me round trip 4 and is a golden opportunity about now....IMO.
So, I'm not expecting to find another IFON in my lifetime really....and all inside of a year. I count myself more than fortunate there! Sorry for the story, but I've got to give IFON its due....I don't want to fool myself into expecting another IFON.
Thanks, and Merry Christmas Steve to you and all your great family!
We need some volume; BFDI says on its updated webpage that body cameras are an option under upfitting now. This could make upfitting much more lucrative, IMO. These developments, plus the last quarter being profitable, are why BFDI has some new-found love. However, it will take some volume to distract any further selling at this level, IMO. What's BFDI worth now? That's always the question to answer on any company. IMO, prospects are far better now than 6 months ago. Even though upfitting is low-margin business for them, it seems that the revenue side could expand significantly there and throw some money to the bottom line.
I really think this stock is one of the most "overlooked" one on the market.....consistently profitable, yet trading at a huge discount to its tangible net asset value; WF just granted its credit line out for 3 more years, if I'm remembering the duration correctly. This may not describe a situation when everyone wants to buy, but it describes the one where I want to buy. IMO, Hopeful
xerox says city police share responsibility for speed camera errors"
In the piece tonight, Schutt of xerox said while its contract with Baltimore did not specifically state that the city could continue using its software after its contract was not renewed, xerox nevertheless attempted to assist with the transition to Brekford.
Brechin, who was at the hearing too, giving his account of things, disagreed and stated "there was no transition."
The source of this article is the baltimore sun; writer is luke broadwater who covered this saga all along the way
I replied but the yayhoos removed, I guess.
I agree, boulder; street just upgrades/downgrades on a program that mainly looks at stock price direction....DUH.
Let's see, IFON stock price is below tangible book now; next quarter could be all-time record for Verykool; credit line was just "doubled"
Sell or buy???? That's a tough one. LOL
Again, uptab. I've talked with the President several times; I wish you would call him. All he can do, of course, is to speak to what has been spoken to us via public announcements. However, it gives you a chance to size ABHI up. My conversations have not led to anything causing suspicions, but I'd love to have your view.
Also, since they said today that "this" would generate revenue in the next 60 days, I'm wondering if they are referring to the 150,000 trials. I wonder if those were tests or free trials for a short time with a follow-up subscription if not cancelled and whether tied to the PC Hq agreement. Alternatively, maybe they are referring to passing a testing hurdle that had been holding up the ability to nurture the PC HQ application, etc.
Nonetheless, it's obvious the stock market wants to see the money before placing a bid while some others "assume" a scam. My gut says this is not a scam at all.
good point; CDE would have been well over 5 bucks today had the announcement not been made; apparently people were thinking that the deal was off and CDE had been extraordinarily strong of recent days until today. IMO, it's an opportunity, whether buying CDE shares directly or PZG shares to get CDE shares. People are so shortsighted (short pun intended), fickle and impulsive. Silver will head back up soon, IMO, and the analysts will quickly go to marking up their estimates and target opinions.
Congrats. I flipped some more from 4.56 to 5.24....missing some. I got some LNCO in the 9s...my average is 13.78, there, though. I'm afraid we are seeing another bounce; however, any major threat type news and oil may spike to stay. I'm expecting oil to stabilize in the mid 50s although it might dip below 50 briefly. What are you thinking, Steve?
When I said dying out, if I'm not mistaken, they are also revolutionizing that product. It was a very small, but profitable source of revenue. Veloxum stands to be much, much larger and software carries high margins.
The wireless business of the former Ambicom was dying out and that's why the company did the deal with Veloxum. The former company is not a resource of connections for the Veloxum software. I think the news today is important because it validates the software. I'm hoping the reference to significant revenue in the next 60 days means the deal with PC Headquarters can go active now since these trials have verified the software.
I would be thrilled with your expectations (or uptab's). The inventory balance was so low going into this quarter, I'm concerned they may have had supply issues. Margins would be great due to that, though (that is, demand far outstripping supply). I'm thinking the 4th quarter may be a real blowout. Again, if they can do your numbers for the 3rd, we will once and for all get out of this ridiculous trading level we've been stuck in for way too long.
