I think your assessment is accurate. What is you guess for takeout? I made some money on TIE at a similar juncture. The recent drop in price is significant, but Harold keeps buying. I might say age plays a factor. Does he want to take this sucker private before the ultimate swan song?
I will give these folks another quarter or two and then bail if no earnings to show with revenue growth. The Tumi outlet close to where I live is empty on weekdays. Even the outlet stuff seems overpriced. A few weeks back at PHL a salesperson tried to sell me a 700 dollar upright business roller. Was it well-designed? But worth 700? No. I bought a Travelpro analog for $126 that is lighter and nearly as functional as the Tumi. I think there stuff is nicely styled. But most luggage experts prefer the warranty on the Briggs and Riley. It may be boxier but most feel it is virtually indestructible with life-time, no questions asked warranty.
