Hey Gary. Good to see you back! I am headed for Houston tomorrow. I bought Opexa on a whim and becasue it goes after a sexy (to the money world) problem ......... MS (horrific disease to have). Too early in the trials to make any real mathmatical decisions and usually earlier than I get into a biotec. But this has volatility and a decent chance for a buy out. I am in it light (5k shares) starting at 1.30 per share. Spec stock at this point but maybe make some decent money. More chat later ........ gotta get up at 3:30 am for the airplane ride.
When will it hit 3? - No way to know this but I think next summer (2014)
When will they release the financials? (whithin SEC quidelines now which is 45 days after quartr end and 60 days after year end. Their financials are cleaned up now)
Why did they lose 2 big distributors this month? No 8-k or press release to support your claim. "Our second quarter 2013 results saw us moving our top line back in the right direction, as we generated a 6% sequential revenue improvement from the first quarter," said Thomas Byrne, President and Chief Executive Officer of Swisher. "We continue to see renewed interest in our corporate account and distributor programs. In the first half of the year, Swisher added nine new service distributors, 2,000 net new customers through its existing service distributors and won several new corporate accounts with over 700 locations as well as renewing several existing corporate accounts to new contracts. Our adjusted EBITDA improved from the first quarter of 2013 as expected, as several cost initiatives were being put into place in the second quarter. In addition, costs related to the review and restatement process wound down throughout the quarter."
What are they doing to turn things around? The books are cleaned up .......... see above for what they are doing.
Why did so many techs leave this month? Again, nothing to support your claim.
A rift-raft (my opinion) law firm is reaching out to see if there is any interesst in filing a class action lawsuit against the company and trying to sign up people.
Why? Because management is going to ask the shareholders approval to increase the shares available for outstanding to be used as incentive for officer & employees.
So vote for it or don't. But they did not do anything wrong. Go back an check some of the most sucessful companies, tons of them did the same thing to retain talent in their early days.
The success of this company will ride on the outcome of the MS trials. Not some potential lawuit.
Funny, the bashers were over at DNDN, HGSI, ARNA, POZN, and a few others when I made more than a handsome profit. Glad to see you louses here too. Makes me feel secure in my current rather modest position in OPXA. THis one is still a few years out though.
