  • Just wanted to drop you a quick note and let you know what a wonderful job gregfruitcake is doing in representing you on the YHOO message board. He daily fights the good fight and wards off the evil shortsellers hired by Bill Ackman to spread propaganda on this very important message board that must reach at least 10 people a day. Keep up the good work and pay this man more. Maybe a few shares of HLF stock should be thrown in along with a tub of marvelous F1.

A case study in delusional behavior

    by hudget 12 hours ago

HLF management does seem incompetent enough to both bother to put a paid shill on this board (worthless endeavor imo) and if they did put a paid shill on this thread to put someone as pathetic as fruitcake to protect their interests and to sing the company tune over and over.

  • is FRUITCAKE. He constantly shouts how he owns people and schools them the whole time making himself the fool. He supposedly held stock from low 80's to here yet claims he is winning. LOL He never holds management accountable for their action/inaction. He apparently lives in some fantasy land where he is making money on this turd in spite of massive losses, where he is always right and champions over evil short sellers in spite of doing nothing but self boasting, childish rants and calling people names.. Too funny

LOL. HLF designed the study not me. I am just reporting the facts they would rather stay hidden. Gordito, it is time to admit you are simply another stone in this huge pyramid. Maybe you made it a third of the way up the pyramid and you have spent a lot of money not to mention years of your life in this scheme. You want your reward for all the years of recruiting and conning people into the scheme making your up line rich, but the gig is up and this little scam is about to get hammered along with all the other similar MLM scams that all operate pretty much the same way. Oh well. It will simply allow you to point your talents and resources in a worthwhile endeavor. Good luck.

  • not have any direct sales that they record or can prove? The only people we know that are buying are distributors. WHY they buy is the 4 billion dollar question. Most distributors in most organizations actually SELL the product they buy for a profit. I think the FTC will come down on the side of they are mostly buying (83% by hlfs own research) to pursue an unattainable business venture. That is called fraud.

    Why did HLF management LIE

so 80% of the mcdonalds franchises fail? 80% of subway? and with hlf 80% would be a GREAT result. The real number is 99% fail. The 1% that make it do it on the backs of the 99% that fail. They sell a lie to gullible and quite often desperate people. The fact it only costs $59 bucks does not change the lie. Plus $59 is just the buyin. The over priced product is the real money maker for the up line that gets over 80% of everything the new recruit spends buying product trying to build their business.

  • about the reasons distributors sign up? Why did they change the name from distributor to member? Are they NOT proud of the money making opportunities being presented to new recruits? They have spent over 30 years trying to talk people into what a great business opportunity this company is for new distributors and now they are back peddling like crazy. I am sure the FTC is interested in the money making opportunity and we know that HLF's own internal studies indicate 83% sign up for the money making opportunity. Why NOT own it and be proud of it? oh yea, that little problem about success rate.

  • on a Thursday night right near the end of the reporting window. then have a quick cc afterwords. Wow, that must mean GOOD earnings RIGHT! That is why they wait so long. that is why they hold CC when nobody around and release on Thursday instead of usual Tuesday. They don't want the bulls to push the price too high right away so they are trying to hide all the good news. LOL

  • iincluding lots of LEGAL and CRISIS Management talent. LOL What does that say about where this company is heading?

  • they sell "sugar" drinks instead of "protein" drinks because some of their cheap product has as many grams of sugar as protein. LOL unbelievable they call themselves a nutrition company. Purveyors of false business opportunities selling sugary protein mixes as their guise, is in reality what they are.

Wrong again fruitcake, It MEANS a lot. It is very statistically accurate and SHOWS without a doubt what common sense also points to. Namely that distirbutors are NOT signing up for a discount that costs many times what they can buy cheap protein powder for elsewhere. It shows that over 80% are lured in with income opportunity and when you tie that information to their own required distributor financial disclosures it shows this is a FRAUD. That is how they sell so much OVER PRICED cheap protein powder and everyone is catching on. That is the reason the share price has fallen from 83 in spite of massive support from Icahn and Stiritz and ill fated convert by management trying to squeeze ackman unsuccessfully.

  • Why did HLF NOT release the results of its own survey showing 83% sign up to MAKE MONEY? Hard to create reasons for LYING and omitting evidence isn't it.

WHY did HLF not release the survey

You have been warned. Your current losses, make believe losses anyway, are the result of investing in a pyramid scheme that preys on the ignorant and gullible. It is one of the most successful schemes of this nature in the history of the world. Its time is coming to an end. Bank on it.

  • is it because they have thousands and thousands of Retail customers? NO absolutely NOT
Is it because they have built a recruiting MACHINE below them that brings in thousands of new recruits each year? Absolutely, they churn and burn thousands in their organization and MAKE money off each order the recruits place pursing the false business opportunity. Simple until the FTC puts a stop to it.

Oh I forgot to mention the 1% that make money at HLF do so ONLY ON THE BACKS of thousands of failed distributors that are conned into the scheme. For everyone at the top THOUSANDS must fail and lose money below them as part of their down line. Nice system for the 1% at the TOP and for Johnson and his fellow execs. BAD deal for everyone else. Also bad for stockholers which is good because longs experiencing the losses have been given full warning what this company does and IS.

  • that showed 83% of distributors sign up for MONEY MAKING OPPORTUNITY not discounted personal purchases? Is it because that makes them LOOK BAD when 99% FAIL at making money? And the FTC does NOT like lying and telling new recruits they can sell at retail when it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE? The game is getting close to being over for this FRAUD. Be a great day for this country and the world when it is SHUTTERED.

  • indicated 83% of distributors sign up for the business opportunity. Then they LIE and try to claim that over 70% simply want the "discount" LOL some discount still 7 times higher than competition. It simply made no sense and now that their internal documents have been exposed HLF say " we used 46 sample size and got the results we expected" So if you EXPECTED over 80% sign up for the business op then why tell the world that over 70% sign up for the so called over priced DISCOUNT? They are NOT even good at LYING.

I agree, the kid did really good work. Very thorough and well researched. The reason the longs (especially those that hang around this thread) don't get it is it had math in it and then logic was applied. They prefer personal insults and riding on the big boys coattails. Anything that requires more research than that is way over their head.

  • Bad business results. Pyramid scheme awareness. Big holders need to get out. FTC and other regulators possible adverse rulings. Huge debt and shredded balance sheet. Put your THINKING CAPS on people!
