The shorts are spreading lies about this company. Flutie has been a champion trying to keep these lies from being accepted, but management must also do its part. We need management to require all distributors to turn in their retail reports weekly so management can put together a comprehensive report showing the massive retail sales this marvelous company has and the profits being amassed as distributors selling profitably at retail. Then we can squash this continued short attack as they will no longer have any basis for shorting this stock and will be utterly crushed. Share price will easily double or triple.

BTW, if all this is true, then Bill Ackman owes me a LOT OF MONEY. come on bill, pay up!!

  • I must be the greatest trader in the world and also have great influence over the stock price! All through posting on a yahoo message board with maybe 20 consistent followers. After all, I was long when the stock was going up last year, and short now that it is going down this year. Brilliant! Congrats to me and my trading acumen and persuasive arguments! I am surprised I don't get credit for, based upon sheer charisma and logic getting the FTC to take a look at HLF after all these years of neglect. LOL

  • when they say they were surprised by the FTC announcement. I think they really thought they could keep getting away with this sleazy, irresponsible money transfer scheme forever. After all, the FTC has let them grow unimpeded for a long long time, conning millions along they way by tying product sales to false business opportunity. But now, a new sheriff in town is taking a fresh look. This will CHANGE the game by changing the rules. The handwriting is on the wall if you can decipher it. Bank on it.

  • obviously hates Ackman. They want revenge, maybe just because Ackman is not a nice guy maybe for personal slights, we do not know about. I think that is blinding them to the truth about Ackman's claims regarding the nature of this enterprise. Chapman indicated a very large stake. Huge nominal position but mainly through derivatives, possibly counter party to Ackmans derivatives. Squarely in opposite camps. Chapman is talking his book and appears to me to be nervous, as he should be. He will lose.

Well, that is a good thing for you then. Because the FTC is going to shut down the tying of product sales to the false business opportunity. so, if you really are just selling the product and helping people then you are golden! Of course, there is not much profit in that. Nice that you are doing the charity work, but to keep the lights on better keep the day job.

Are those new customers or new victims? but the main question remains. How well will you be able to sell your fake food without the benefit of tying sales to the false business opportunity?

that the brain trust at CHQ is scrambling like crazy to try to keep the "good ship Pyramid" afloat. A real possibility, is that one of their own will turn against them and start to work with the FTC to uncover the truth. That will be devastating for the big boys trying to run for cover. This saga is far from over, there will be many twists and turns and ups and downs. But, if justice prevails, the light of truth is beginning to shine upon this sleazy industry and it will be changed forever. Ackman is no choir boy, but he is a prime reason this pyramid is under such intense scrutiny. I applaud him for that.

it is a good thing he is one of those only playing with "make believe" shares and money. Can you imagine if he actually had real shares? Of course, that would require "real money" which is unfathomable for someone of his mental capacity. If nastiness were profitable he would be the next Bill Gates.

China won't announce. They will simply round up all the perps, put most in jail and shoot the rest. One thing that can be said for the ChiCom's. They do not allow any cults in their country, besides the main cult, which is their own communist cult. So hlf and nus, although the corrupt chicoms like the bribes and payments being received, do not like the competition for the minds and wallets of their peasant population.

all those who are on the right side. The side of truth and justice. the side that knows HLF is a money transfer scheme and could see this inevitable decline into the abyss. Please, please do not keep rubbing it in the noses of the poor longs, who are suffering enough with their losses. Some actually have real loses from real stock they bought. Others simply have make believe losses. but even those with make believe loses, on make believe shares, are still deeply hurting from this latest market action. so, be kind! Try to understand that their brains are not that big. That greed probably afflicted them at an early age, and combined with ignorance and a disregard for the truth have created them the way they are. Be gentle.

Going to whole foods is absolutely the SMART thing to do. Eat REAL food. to buy this HLF over priced fake food is crazy, even if it was not a pyramid scheme. Which it is.

  • hudget hudget Mar 13, 2014 11:14 AM Flag

their proverbial tittiesx is in a wringer for sure. They now KNOW that HLF is operating illegally in its fastest growing market. Will they go back and decertify the books? Will they put a QUALIFICATION in their report? They should. And all the talk about HLF suing their former auditors? Very long shot. Why? Because their former auditors, in spite of the guy doing the inside stupid trading, has the inside goods on this pyramid scheme. do you really think HLF management wants to get in a #$%$ match with the guys who KNOW how this company operates? NO WAY

  • hudget by hudget Mar 13, 2014 11:04 AM Flag

what will you and your down line do, when the FTC requires that you actually make your money by directly selling to real consumers and not to people deluded into thinking they are entering a legitimate business opportunity? How much profit can you and yours make per can of F1 selling directly to real end users without the con job attached of a business op? You know that is what is coming!!

Gordito, good to see you are still around. I thought maybe the CHQ put out a gag order on all distributors with the FTC action. BTW, are you required to verify the legal residence and right to work of new distributors that you sign up? Also, you may not want to give up that day job, just yet.

  • I kept saying. Mr. market is fickle. Dont rely on the pps to give you direction. Look at the fundamentals of what you are investing in. Look at the model. So now longs turn back to your god, mr. market. Ask him what is the truth. He is still fickle. He still does not tell you the truth but over time he will. The weight of the evidence is unfolding, it is telling all who will listen this is a fraud, a money transfer scheme, a seductress, a trap an illusion wrapped in a riddle surrounded by fog. The FTC will spend the next year unwrapping this illusion and dismantling this scheme!! The longs, as foretold, are reaping the rewards of their ignorance and greed.

  • your wishes will come true. Over and over and over and over again as this plays out.

  • it is. Gee, now how could HLF be making over 100% ROE and growing very rapidly? 1. Did they have amazing products? NO, generic overpriced same as anyone else. 2.did they have amazing sales force? NO anyone with $59 bucks and willing to buy product qualified. 3. Did they have amazing marketing or branding? NO nobody heard of their products outside the network until Ackman made them famous.

So what we are left with is the obvious. They were, and still are, running a very long term highly successful money transfer scheme that takes money from millions of new distributors who are entering because of the "business opportunity" of which there is NONE. Over 90% realize there is NONE within a year, but with billions of people in the world that are susceptible and easily conned the game has continued. Until the FTC steps in and stops it at least in the U.S which will be precedence around the world. Game over.

  • they apparently had a very successful secondary offering. but the main reason they may be going up is the latest news from the FTC pretty much puts a stop to any involvement that may have contemplated regarding getting involved in this HLF mess. Of course, their old CEO is still involved as far as we know. He may be doing the heavy selling this morning. Wonder if he has been receiving margin calls? Very possible.
