Kanes, you sound like you have quite a loss (or have not sold but are in the red - unrealized loss) racked up already.
Why on earth do you [ and so many other "longs"] "marry" a stock ticker symbol and protect it like an alpha male wolf protects its pack anyways?
it does not matter.
learn to become a day trader and simple follow the price movement.
the first rule is this: Never "marry" your stock ticker symbol like so many of the longs do.
it may be worth it up front during an initial runup but most longs herein do not know how to part with their beloved ticker symbol once it has run its course. their sense of greed and loyalty overpowers what is going on with the market price…. and they will maintain (their ego) being right, even when they have lost it all.
sorry long-hold-overniters-for-weeks-on-end, but i have seen it time and time again.
I trust that trust does not have a good spot in ANY stock market.
It is nice to see at least one rational person post herein, who is level-headed and doesn't react out of emotion. At best, the markets are irrational and that goes in both directions.
i got in many moons ago when it 3was formerly republic brands of texas. 25k shares.
when they converted to THCZ, i said ..hmmm… ok… but didn't buy more until earlier this year when they hooked up with checkout distribution in late january. another 250k shares. then when amazon entered the picture, i added another 1M for a total of 1.275M. i sold 1M today and am left with 275000 shares to see how high it goes. i am covered and netted 250k$. a nice chunk of change. i dunno how high it will go but i figure it's time for me to cash out, as i can't see the future and this could go either way…. but i tend to think it may have gotten ahead of itself…. and selling 1M+ shares doesn't happen all at once. i was left with 27 alerts with sales all broken up into smaller #$%$ sales ranging from as low as1266 shares, to a high of 175k chunk. i can't imagine how hard it would be to sell that much when a penny stock is falling like a knife so i figured get out now while i have a nice cash crop. if it does fall like a knife to a 66% retracement, i'd buy back in for sure.
the distribution agreement is good but it's just a little water distribution company in texas - lol. now if it was a beverage distribution company, i may have not opted to sell as much… but what the heck. it's a nice chunk of change and i am extremely happy. now i am looking not to chase this any further, but to find another MJ stock that's still in the penny to few penny range.
