sellers don't look very confident here. Shorts could pile in and break the xon chart on this low volume. But they aren't. Scared little guys. They should be nervous; I wouldn't bet against Kirk.
neah - you got it. And with Kirk's ownership %, NOone is buying XON until he nods his head in approval. Seems like that is a ways off and at much higher than a 50% premium from here. I'm long halo, xon, ziop. just opened a position in ovas yesterday.
why would anyone short against insider buying like we see have seen over the past few months with OVAS... does not compute. But yet here they are, loaded up betting against a powder keg... should be interesting. Anyone got a cigarette?
Sentiment: Strong Buy

"the stock price of XON will be reduced by the proportional value of ZIOP on the distribution ex-date? You're not getting the ZIOP shares for free."
cwn, you are 100% correct of course. I am looking at the ZIOP distribution like a spin off. So while you are correct it's also likely to unlock value. Come the ex-date though, we'll see XON open lower proportionally to the distribution, as you stated above.
ok y'all. the pants are off. on 5x vol up 8% not bad. veuve is chillin in the fridge. won't pop the bubbs until we get a pop on 10x avg daily volume. until then... donald duckin' it I guess
where is GS? You won't hear from them. Them and their clients loaded up in the $13's. You won't hear a peep from them about nuance for a while.
i agree, jersey. that was my logic... huge news. just bought nxpi shares yesterday for first time since last few hundred i bought in the $60s...
catfish try selecting 'all' to see the gentleman's post history. doesn't look like a new id to me. quality investors don't troll these boards every day. anyone posting on these boards day after day should not be trusted far more than the rest of the people on here we shouldn't trust. heh.
value's point is, these guys dont lose money. and he is right. anyone who couldn't get his point is simply not intelligent.
Fast-growing Chinese consumer electronics firm Xiaomi has partnered with NXP Semiconductors to make smart home products.
In an agreement announced Tuesday, NXP will provide its latest low-power wireless connectivity offering for the new Xiaomi Smart Home Suite. The suite consists of four wireless products: a motion sensor, door and window sensors, a wireless switching device for controlling appliances, and a multifunctional gateway that wirelessly links all the components together using ZigBee Wi-Fi interconnectivity.
"Our mission is to enable secure connections for a smarter world, and the smart home is a core part of that vision," NXP China CEO Li Zheng said in a statement. "We are committed to developing world-class (Internet of Things) smart home solutions to fit the specific needs of users in China."
Netherlands-based NXP on Tuesday also announced that Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) will use its NFC and embedded secure element technology across the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor family. The two companies hope to expand NFC beyond smartphones to consumer electronics, automotive, home automation, smart appliances, personal computing and wearables.
Recently, NXP partnered with China's Huawei to explore opportunities in the field of "smart manufacturing." The two companies will focus on wireless secure connections for logistics, factory automation and sensor networks to create the factory of the future.
