and what can a pipe operator do , if the drillers stop sending anything to the pipes ?
anyone who thinks that any company has some sort of immunity to market actions , should really
be riding merry go rounds .. .g

one of the wonders of the world , to me ...
is how many times , on nearly every board , the questions about div pays
comes up ,quarter after quarter ..
these guys want to risk their money without the most basic of research ??
a quick read of the sec site would clear up everything .. or call their brokers and
    get the skinnies ..
i also believe that anyone who "trades for the dividend" is playing a losers game ...
for the greatone .. just look at YAHOO ... they give the ex date and pay date ...

no i didn't listen .. i'm just doing my own analysis on the energy matter .. prices will stay
very low for at least 2 more quarters and the next rise will be a gentle slope .. the longer
prices stay low , the more effects it has .. .
a basic investing rule , is let the price come to you .. if you miss , don't worry , opportunities
    arise every day ...
years ago , i played the catch a falling knife thing .. not good ...
as for buying a pipe , i'm watching a few companies , with patience and no emotion ..
not worried if i miss the bottom , just want to buy within 10% of same ... garce

thank you , you are the only other poster i have seen who gets it ...
the theory is that the pipe operators are insulated from price swings .. that's TRUE .. for price swings ,
but in an environment of crude price meltdown and one that will last longer than a quarter or two ,
the pipes will sensitive to prices ..
note .. for the companies looking to supply product to the pipes , they will hardball for better rates ..
a new landscape is coming and anyone looking to add or get into to energy , should put a lid on
their emotions and also their intellect ...
when the rules change , so does the game .. g

i guess that you were born last year ... January , historically has been worst month for retail , if not
for holiday returns , they could have closed shop for a month ... today , with gifts cards , spending does
occur in January , but HD is not one of those businesses that sees heavy traffic there , mall stores do ,
then there is the construction seasonality .. yup .. ever' yer , fer sher ... with more online delivery purchases ,
less foot traffic , less need for associates ..
    come back in April , early , like 7 am .. g

HEY HEY HEY .. c'mon now , how about a few words for the progressive side of IBM ..
Just look at pictures from the 50's ,when IBM still had some large machine shops ..
drill press operators and others wearing white shirts and ties on the work floor , short
haircuts ... IBM did away with those old dress codes decades ago ...
by the time i retired 1st lines were coming in dress in 'jamas (one would even have her
false teeth on her desk when employees would come in for a review !!!!) LOLOLOL ...
Seems like everything IBM did was on the surface or for PR , then "stay the course for
    strategy " ....

    motorola in the game

cont.... is the matter of choosing to put OLED on silicon
and how that stacks up against other substrates ..
Obviously , we cannot make a tv screen(maybe with
    the fibre bundles) ...
    1) what are the advantages to using silicon ?
    2) what are the downsides ?
    3) Can Eman's currently technology be easily employed
on substrates other than silicon , not for them to make,
but to license to companies not in direct competition ...
other than that , i have no problems here , except for
the insanely long waits for 10qs and ks ... g

thanks schatz .. too many of these guys view Emagin as an
established manufacturing company .. i know that some of
my posts are optimistic , but i don't see myself as a cheerleader ..
i know all too well , the hundreds of things that can go awry
    and vaporized a dream ...
from our history classes to ipo's . .the general impression , is
that somebody got a great idea and 2 months later it's annouced and takes over the world , when actually there were years and
years of setbacks and heartaches to get to that point ...
Hell , look at autos .. the Benz's demonstrated the first
internal cumbustion engine used to propel a vehicle in 1886 .. and for the next 20 years , it was questioned as to "why would anyone
need this" to being only a toy for the wealthy .. until H. Ford got
things moving and he didn't invent a damned thing ...
trains , light bulbs and same were in development for
decades , then presented to the world as something
    brand new ..
another thing to bear in mind about OLED ... IT'S NOT JUST
THE SCREENS ... there are a lot of other factors in making
organic diodes do things like present images on a screen ...
For my money ... Emagin is now "ready to go " and with
interest building all over the world for hmd's wearables or
what have you ... 2015 should be a watershed year ...
As for PR's , that so many on this board are yelling for ,
i tried to post a link, then got mixed up a bit ... about the
Verizon thing , yes, i knew that Motorola and Panl had
been linked up , but Verizon is putting on a glitzy superbowl
thing and showcasing an HMD .. .that's great pr ..
Since Emagin is not selling directly to consumers , there is
no need for prs ... (that may change with the IHMD however) ..
the "prs" that Emagin needs to do have been getting done
through CES , SID and other forums to sell products to
other companies .. those companies are the ones to
pay for pr's and such ....
About the only think that i would like to see .. continued

    to answer your question ,
I would have to say that the Keystone Kops have been running the show ...
after all , it has been quite comical .. hasn't it ?

  • iamgarce iamgarce 20 hours ago Flag

yup ... i am also in BMY and GE .. both those boards are useless ... political banter ,
social banter and annoying gnats ... good lord , the internet is loaded with forums for
    just about anything ..
if i wanted to engage in political / social debates , i sure wouldn't do it on a stock message
board ,,, there are far better forums for such ...

  • iamgarce iamgarce 21 hours ago Flag

why don't you roll up one of those reports and shove it down your throat .. then you won't be yawning ..
just how stupid , or slimey are you guys who keep posting stuff about Ult Stock Rpts ?? every board
    gets about 20 / day ...
maybe internet speeds would be fine , without clogging everything up with useless tripe ????
