the big money firms are in wait mode .. they want to see how things shake out , like when do
oil bonds get repriced , which companies are actually overleveraged and such ..
i expect the next 2-3 qtrs to expose such , then we need to see how the big money reads this and
    goes through rebalancing ...
for the retail investor , it's best to wait a while ... we did not get the vee shaped curve on oil prices ,
the longer oil stays under 70 , the more balance sheets will get regurgitated ...
now is the time to figure "best of breeds" , later this year should be okay to wade in and begin
    to accumulate ..
in the long run , we are most likely to see the fruits of massive spending on exploration and
development ...as world economies start to get traction , the formula will be to sell massive
amounts of oil and gas for less unit prices ... garce

no doubt jhm ... we still do not have verification that the protos have been sent , but i do assume
    that they have been ..
next , we need to hear the partner name and maybe something from that partner about
the prospects going forward and when they intend to market the IHMD ..
all of those things will bump the share price , then a decent 10Q will bump again ...
we'll be a whole lot smarter come the summer ..
until then .. "keep yer lure in the water " ... garce

sure , then bring in another one , who will have to bow to the exec team and bod ... there's a lot of heads who
    need to go ...
Once again , IBM is well past it's glory days with a mile wide moat .. which means that they need actual
business people at the top ... the days of a salesman or saleswoman to run the company are gone ..
LG had the right ideas and actually turned the ship , but then Sammy returned everything to where it
    was ..
IBM has always , and continues , to innovation for the sake of innovation .. they still have not mined that
patent trove and leverage it for growth ..

nano , just about everyone agrees that there is such a thing as chemical pollution and semi conductor
mfgrs have poured billions into their plants to keep chemicals from their environments , now the
oil/gas sector is in the crosshairs ..
But where is the outrage for GOLF COURSES ? how about FARMERS ? check out the toxic mixtures
that those concerns leech into the ground and runoff to rivers , streams , ponds and lakes .
Fracking takes place thousands of feet below anyone's aquifer , but golf courses and farmers'
chemicals go directly to sources of drinking water ... then there is the matter of medications being
flushed into a system that does not remove them ... mutated water life is beginning to show up and
what about people drinking water with antipsychotics in it ??
lets treat ALL polluters equally .. garce

probably a lot of legal mess and money to buy an company after bk .. i would expect a buyer around
25 cents ... i don't know .... there are hard assets and there is a slug of debt ... if they go bk , then
everything would have to sold .. i also have to imagine that the trucks and other assets are fairly new
and not worn out ... let's see wha' happens .. g

LOL ... there was a customer that i spent about 45 minutes with,
trying to design some windows .. couldn't do it .. was actually
working with another customer on bifolds ... after i suggested
that the 1st customer see if ProDesk could help , i was joking with
2nd customer and joked "what do i know , i 've only been here
    a couple months" ....
well , the 3 guys(with over 30 yrs exp.) at PD couldn't design
what the guy wanted , he complained to my mgr .."how
could HD expect to give him good service with an
associate that was only there a few weeks" .. I got written
up ... no mention that the ProDesk and 30 yrs couldn't
help ... also , i took that to be a slam against HD , not
the newbie(me) .. but i got written up anyway ...
They don't want you there passed about 3 yrs , so whatever
wasn't mentioned before is now egregious and you go
    out the door ...
I know for a fact that animals in a shelter get better treatment ..
couple that with the totally screwed up scheduling that
they do and you feel like a worthless piece of dung ..
then you are supposed to be very very nice to customers ..
in my area those are Hasidic's .. who hate everyone but
themselves and browbeat you ... scummy place to
    work .. garce

i always felt that IBM thought that if it could beat life into just a single dead horse , that
eternal riches would be theirs .. hence , most IBM sites are littered with dead , battered
    horses ...

I will posit , that among other factors , such as being ready to retire , has a lot to with the new IHMD ..
    1) .. maybe is work is done and he's ready for another pasture , retire
    2) .. his plan may have been for Emagin to buy necessary headset to put their own displays into , but
the company has elected to only produce the displays and supply the fiber bundles to the eventual
    assembler , marketer
    3) all offices to consolidate to EF site and he didn't want to move ..
i don't see anything negative here ... garce

railroads wrecked a lot of animals breeding and foraging areas ... 150 years ago ! same for
paving of roads for vehicles , mining of various metals/minerals .. same ..
as far as the dams are concerned , they have created far more environments for wildlife than
    they have affected negatively ...
firggin' librals do not realize how much of their lives they owe to the various concerns that have
had impacts on the environment and librals, of all people , could not possibly get by without
    those things ... garce

    a negative environmental impact ??
