Gotta love how this monster devoured a $16B acquisition, felt a little sluggish for about a quarter of a trading day, belched and started devouring shorts again. No indigestion, no drop in appetite, just a power move to the upside. Hehehe!!:-)))))))))))))))))))))
Looks like all of us that know what we are doing decided to stay quiet. By doing so we knew that suckers like you would rush in thinking this was going down:-) Oops! Wrong again:-)))))
Hopefully you put your money where your mouth is, slide. Although that would be a real trick, because if you had any money and any conviction, you would be flat broke by now as you have been talking smack about this on its entire run up. You have been EXACTLY wrong for a long time. SO, if you had any money and even tiny balls, you would have been consistently short and gotten creamed. I guess it is possible that you had money and no balls and being wrong didn't cost you anything, but it makes me wonder why you fight it. I have just gotten richer and richer by not fighting the big money :-)))))))))
Because you still believe in the Boogie Man? You have doubted this monster for most of it's rise with the exception of a few nibbles on the long side. I guess every stock needs them, but it is funny to watch how you think.
At this rate of growth, even 70 wouldn't be outrageous. Market clearly is paying up for growth these days. The nice part is this is one is just coming up on the big guys' radar and likely to get a big multiple expansion along with repricing after the stellar quarter. In other words, all arrows point up! That is even before the big short squeeze. I like where we are sitting:-)
Nobody really listens to him anymore. I think you saw what downside action you are going to get today. Shorts could get a buck or two more out of it, but there is clearly big support here. It is like every short term holder sold early and then it treaded water. Like a one day purge of all the froth. The funds like it long term as the value of this as a live event second screen and real time data machine is big and going to be huge. The big dogs that are looking forward clearly didn't unload today. With a 24% move and only 300% avg volume, that looks like momo longs blowing out, but I don't see it going much lower from here. This is pretty much range bound for quite a while with a slight bias up as the power of it's dominant position as pulse of the moment bubbles to the surface again.
Really? Is that the same hedgy's that averaged 6% against the S&P's 29% last year? The ones that Bill Miller rode like housecats? Unless you get really excited by a couple dollar move at the most, you are in for a disappointment and a proper reaming on the snapback, but maybe you like that, hon? Enjoy!!
Welcome. You will enjoy the long side a lot more…lots of fun days with the occasional pauses vs. the reverse on the short side.
My feeling is that TWTR will disappoint, but do their best to spin it with their dominance in the real-time date/news space which the Super Bowl only underscored (which will power huge $$$ once they crack the code). They could have already done so, but my read is not quite yet. If so, solid move up, if not, big move down. Like bzilla, i don't have enough clarity to make a bet either way. That said, even if TWTR gets beat up, I bet FB, and LNKD (who have already shown they know how to print $$$) will shrug and maybe even move higher just to let everyone know who's boss. That said, overall market is getting proper ugly and will at the very least pause even the monsters like FB.
Poor bob. Literally POOR bob! Reminds me of a guy who screams at his dog because it doesn't understand. What a narcissist. I suspect he will still be staring at his reflection (Yelling in ALL CAPS, "This is a ponzi scheme") when they come to repossess him mom's house that he shorted FB with. Heheheheheehehehehehehehe POOR BOB
Aren't you supposed to be in school, bobby? Your mom is going to be furious with you that you lost your lunch money shorting AND are playing hooky while you try to jawbone this monster down. Tsp, tsk!
