I also checked their bond, with a 7% yield and it has been trading at a steady 101(above par) for the year. The selling of this stock started more than a week after the earnings report so its probably related to those two groups diversifying their portfolio, rather than being disappointed by the latest earnings report.

    Thoughts anyone?

Notice many of the other US based drillers and oil service companies are having smaller yet noticeable drops along with a drop in oil.

Why don't you just sell and move on? Relieve yourself of the stored up stress regarding this stock and find other companies to invest in?

All the shipping stocks have been rising with the overall market, regardless of where the shipping rates have gone. Take a multi year look at shipping rates compared with the shipping stocks and without exception, ALL the major shipping stocks are higher today than they were when shipping rates were 3-4 times higher than today. There is so much bullishness in this sector which is not borne out by shipping rates and thus this sector represent the best shorting opportunity in the overall market.

Can anyone justify the current stock prices based on shipping fundamentals?
