All along when I comment, I recommend "strong Sell" and for good reason. Recently a high up management personnel left Staples. If the stock and sales are doing so well, why did he leave? I have also heard that a lot of lower level managers have either retired or left the company. Anyone have any ideas as to why? And this isn't sour grapes because I sold my shares a long time ago and invested in my 401k.
Isn't it amazing that a Major Company like Staples uses the excuse that they can't afford to get quality health insurance for their workers because it cost too much and yet, Ron Sargent's pay grew 15% this past year to the tune of $12.4 million dollars. You investors still haven't figured it out that the stocks would be worth a lot more if Ron wasn't cutting as much cost as possible, just to line his pockets with gold. Pretty soon Staples will be a internet company only, just like Amazon and then how much will it be worth? Investors need to get rid of the syphon.
