    et fired or
suspended from school? Either way it is so good to hear
you're still the cry baby you always were. Buyout,
buyout, buyout, buyout... oh my god, quite standard just
    started pissing in his panties.

It's sheep like you that will lose your ass. "Do
not question the Prince..."--you are pathetic. Who
the f--- do you think this charleton is? The guy
doesn't even live in the US. Do you really believe he
knows more than the average investor? I'll answer that
for you, sheepboy.....NO! The blind leading the blind
    is very fitting here.

"afci will open monday above the 60$."

    Why?

Are you a time traveler who has seen the future? I'm
tired of your one liners without any reasons. I'm sure
your flock of sheep will cream in their pants over
this prediction but you don't know anything more than
we do. Correct me if I'm wrong.....

Who rattled your cage? No one was talking to you.
We'll let you know when it's amateur night again and
you can have the board to yourself. Unlike you and
Mkt_e, I am not bashing the company and basically
calling the whole management team frauds. I am purely
stating that the next few months may be tough. You post
for the sole purpose of hearing yourself talk. I
firmly believe in this company long term AND I have a
position in the company (unlike you or Mkt_e or dcktx). Go
back to that hole you said you were going to hide in.

Is anyone evaluating the laptop battery? My
impression from those that attended was that VLNC wasn't
even close to being able to mass produce it. If so, I
doubt orders will be just around the corner. I hope I'm
    mistaken.

I think this stock is dead money for a while.
Unless there are some announcements in the short term,
which I don't think will happen, this stock has seen
its high for quite some time. A year from now things
should be great. If someone knows of anything in the
next few months that might generate more interest in
this stock, please tell me. Everything I'm hearing
from those that attended the meeting leads me to
believe that any major event(like shipping product and
being able to announce it) is quite a few months away.
I'm a big fan of this company but I think we're in
for a chinese water torture for a while. JMO but love
    to hear what others think.

I think they are for the lawsuit.

  • Keep in mind that Belcore has licensed the basic
Li-poly design to almost everyone who expressed an
interest. The trick has been in actually making more than a
few in a laboratory. As the ULBI CEO recently
commented, mass producing Li-poly is the trick, not
demonstrating a few batteries. So far, VLNC appears to have an
advantage there, as well as in detail design that aids in
battery consistency and capacity. It's too early to get
    shaken up about competing Li-poly press releases;
there's been an amazing number of those over the last
couple of years announcing imminent production and then
    . . . silence.

Not too many sellers last quarter. MKT_E must know a
lot more than all these guys. He really should
nominate himself for a board seat at the meeting on Tues.
I'll bet the next quarter's report blows these numbers
    away.

rslittleboy-I thought you were going back to your hole. Please
do as your told. Good bye.

good idea, go back to your hole. That's the
smartest thing I've heard yet. The one thing I can't
understand about most of the repetitive b.s. I hear on this
board is why are you here. Do you think you are doing
us a favor by enlightening us? MKT_E and Dickyboy
must have some really empty lives. If you are short,
fine. But most of you have no position either way. Back
up your mouth with a stake either way. Otherwise,
get lost. And nobody gives a sh*t about your old
    posts rslittleboy. Save your breath.

Care to answer my question, pussy? Bottom line is
you have no position in the company. You're just a
phuking loser with nothing better to do but hang out on
this board. Your self proclaimed understanding of
VLNC's technology impresses nobody. Get a life, amateur.

What is your position in this company? I'd like
to understand where you coming from with regard to
Valence. If you are short, when did you short the stock?
You claim to be so knowledgeable in Valence's
business you really should go apply for a job there. You
could have saved them so much time in developing the
    smartest business strategy.

    Since I'm asking you,
I am long and have been since 7. I've got no
    complaints, how about you?

That should end all the CSCO rumors

    by quite_standard_really Feb 9, 2000 6:55 PM
iconhater iconhater Feb 9, 2000 8:15 PM Flag

today's news has absolutely no effect on a
CSCO/AFCI rumored merger. It purely protects an asset
against a crazy market. AFCI's stock will be up tomorrow
if the market cooperates IMO. I don't think the
volume over the past 4 days is for any other reason than
a buyout. It was just too much activity. I really
think they will be bought soon but when I don't know.

Isn't Cisco in a quiet period right now until earnings on Tues? If there is a deal, I don't think it can be announced until later in the week. Anyone know more about this?

Do you really think the stock would be where it
is if there wasn't big news coming? There are going
to be multiple major announcements in the coming
weeks. All it will take is one partnership with a major
mfg and this stock will run another 10-20pts. Stocks
trade on the future you dumb phuc. The market knows
what is coming. The rest of us see it too. You are
just too f'in dumb and ignorant to see it. Please just
go away. You add no value other than a good laugh at
    your stupidity.

Looks like Black Monday....we should have
recovered more of the losses after the analysts tried to
reassure investors. I think there will be big news Monday
and it won't be good. This stock will be in the 20's
by Tuesday. I sold today and bought puts. No wonder
    they have been so quiet.

You haven't seen me on here because not all of us
are as big a loser as you and hang out on message
boards all day so you have someone to talk to. Some of
us have jobs and other things to do. You have
nothing important to add here. Please leave, dumbass and
don't bother responding to me. I won't be reading any
more of your pointless messages. Go do your homework
and try to graduate this year, punk.

shove your standard passbook response up your
sorry ass. i have never "invested" in a company that
waits until the day before to release the earnings date
or just releases them as a big surprise one day.
this is not the way it's done. go back to your
    dormroom, rookie.

This silence from the company is bullshit. They
better have some big news in the pipeline. There is no
volume to support any run whatsoever. We are stuck here
until they tell the world what the f*&! they are doing.
I have never heard of a company not releasing an
earnings date until the week of the announcement. Are they
trying to piss off the analysts so no one will be on
their conf call. Not all us got in sub 10 and think
    everything is rosy here.
