And that's the way it goes:

In addendum: me thinks there an abundance of phony namechanging weird compulsive people here. Anyone who changes their name every few months in their strange behavior is simply: STRANGE. Other than that, there are a couple of normal ones like challenge. Are there more than 4 REAL people on this board?

Hah, just had my soybeans sprayed before the forthcoming rains and it is in mother natures's hands now. Nothing to do but harvest and see where prices go. You truly are one of a kind, or is it one-of-kind? You devote a large time of your name id and time to one person. Uh, you do know there is more out there than juan? Weird compulsion. Grumpy old men...................

This used to be an interesting board. (financially). Now its 95% about cutting down those you disagree with concerning politics. It HAS BECOME: "GRUMPY OLD MEN" as portrayed by Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau.

  • My opinion, the public (that cares) should at least know what is in it before passage. Both parties divided on this, so choose your poison or viagra carefully.........................

Wow, must have gotten to you. Can you say sore loser on FX? By the way corn prices are less than half what they were at their peak a couple of yr. ago. But that is the way of the commodity cycles. On the other hand, cattle prices have been booming. You may have difficulty understanding this: Cheap corn makes cattle more profitable for cattle producers (lower feed costs) and cattlemen increase their no. in the cow herd. More cattle results in higher grain prices because the grain stocks are drained. Conversely, higher corn prices causes cattle farmers to reduce their herds and results eventually in higher meat prices at the grocery store. Get it?

I agree...............been a longgggggggggggggg time (years), since a 10% short term correction. Im in about 80%, but still holding about 20% back waiting for the short term hammer..... which would likely be "health restoring for a longer in years bull market.". Imo, always nice to have some reserves and be able to buy when it happens. Good fortune to you.

You could state the same thing about a money market fund. Up year after year.......unless you are in Switzerland. Heh. Anyway, the S and P now has exceeded the exceeded FX on average annual returns for the last 10 yr. In fact, the S and P 500 has BEATEN IT 7 out of the last 10 yr. The asset base for FX has now shrank to 1.2 billion. What was its all time asset base ....OVER 5 BILLION? Investors have pulled their money out of this fund big time......but they were cherry picking........after all...its only money. Heh. Anyway, continue to hold onto this fund, maybe he will get that magic back......some day............or decade or so.............

  • Today...........Thanks to those Americans, Brits, Canadians, Australians of all political views on those wide beaches.

The endless question after question game grows tiresome. However, I will furnish this. Go to Oct. 4, 2011 on THIS message board. I posted on THAT date that I had first bought POAGX. If you want to compare the two funds, look up each of their share prices on that date on Yahoo Finance. Should take less than a few minutes. DO NOT compare the S and P index, POAGX and FX over the last 5 yr. on Morningstar......it will bum you out. As for American Pharoah (yes they misspelled pharaoh but big deal, a great win and first Triple Crown winner since 1978. By the way, if the barbaric jr. varsity team takes Egypt, look for them to destroy anything to do with statues of any Egyptian Pharaohs, pyramids, etc. as the pharaohs were supposed to be the sons of the god Ra. and as we know such paganism does not fill will with the JV team. In addendum they will very tragically go after humans too, right?

By the way, the Morningstar return comparisons were based on the past 3 yr. as of June 5. If you want the last 5 yr., I shall oblige you. I see FX finally barely got above 0% return for this calendar yr. of 2015. This once great fund of yore, or is it "your" fund is a has been........in my ever humble opinion......heh.

Wow....you must be a masochist or just pigheaded on FX, the ONE STAR fund. As of June 5, 2015: the average annual return for 5 STAR POAGX: 30.87%. For CGMFX: 20.41%, and the S and P 500: 20.17%. Stats from Morningstar. Keep holding it......fast trading Ken is 73 now. Opinions of analysts on the net varied from he has lost most of his main funds assets.... to he has lost his touch.... to he may have lost the stamina to continue his past successful way (way past). But then you are liberal..........and it is an emotional issue for you. I get it.

I got curious, so I looked up PRWCX. Great fund, 5 stars past performance and Gold for future (according to Morningstar). Like POAGX, I see it closed in 2014 to new investors. Got curious, so I looked up my share price purchases......initially $14 and change and following purchases in the $17s.

  • iggybiggies iggybiggies May 28, 2015 6:20 PM Flag

I totally agree, hindsight is 20/20. I bought my first share of POAGX for my portfolio in 2011. So it has only doubled for me in that time span. Too bad I didnt buy it a little sooner, but with time we shall what occurs. Before it closed in Jan. 2014 I did post on this board that was going to close. The good thing I did was sell FX and put the proceeds into POAGX. By the way, I feel index funds like the S and P 500 are hard to beat over time for the bulk of a portfolio. Good luck to you.

The National Association of African-Owned Media has filed a 20 billion lawsuit against Comcast and Time Warner. Al Sharpton is also named in the lawsuit. Regarding Sharpton the claim by the National Association is Sharpton helped mask Comcast and Time Warners lack of racial diversity in exchange for $$$$. SOURCE: The Huffington Post. Guess in your book, that makes the Huff Post a racist outfit for publishing the story.

Beavis, there you go again. It would seem you have lowered rivvir closer to your existing level (that of a guttersnipe). Now take your medicine, or quit taking it, (whichever works for such a liar) and get some rest.

You are so PC it is truly disgusting. You do not get it do you? One of my best friends is black you sanctimonious hypocrite. By the way, take the time to read Booker T. Washington's quote about guys like Sharpton. (Perhaps you can figure out which quote is applicable). You are being played.
