Apple often sells down before reporting but hopefully this will not be the case.
It will move. Technical levels need to be achieved yet. Patience Michael. Look how far we've come since last Thursday.
short interest isn't that high tho. there's lots of noise out there including rehashing the pc market sluggish #'s at Zacks. I think this will turn positive as the dow gains. this is all bs and we know it.
The ONLY reason we are down is because the options bazturds want to pin at 125. Whether that works out for them is yet to be seen. I think we may turn around this p.m. and close above 126. Hoping anyway!
... "Although we believe further weakness in China's stock market could take away some of the 'bling' purchases of iPhones, we do not believe this will change the positive momentum for Apple ( AAPL)," said Brian White in a note. He projected further growth in China for Apple ( AAPL) with 15% to 20% of Chinese subscribers likely to be candidates for high-end phones in the next five years. The analyst also said Apple ( AAPL ) is in the midst of a "transformational super cycle" but its prospects are as bright as ever. Apple ( AAPL) shares gained 1.2% to $124.69, up for a second session in a row. The stock fell 2.5% last week, its worst weekly decline since middle of January. White's 12-month price target for Apple ( AAPL ) is $195.
This is what Susquehanna had to say on April 14, 2015: ...In a report published Tuesday, analysts at Susquehanna Financial Group initiated coverage of PepsiCo, Inc. PEP with a Positive rating and a price target of $123. The company is currently at an attractive valuation as compared to its peer group, despite having mixed fundamentals.
What's changed in 2 months? Duhhhhh!
As much as I hate to admit defeat, you are right. ANTH took the hit and came right back. I did sell my position but made a nice gain. I don't normally trade biotechs but have seen other stocks get hit terribly by secondaries and fear set in. I do own (not trade) CELG, GILD and BIIB. My BIIB is getting clobbered today on a Zack's downgrade to sell. These are all very volatile regardless of valuations so I'm not as leveraged in these as other sectors. I will take it under advisement however as to what you said re: biotechs and offerings as this is quite different than what I've experienced in the past. ANTH apparently has wings. Good luck. I may get back in on a dip.
Actually the watch sales haven't been so robust in the U.S. but China is more than making up for any shortfall here. Watch and learn! Ignore the noise on the street. Apple will surprise sweetly!!!!
