Personally, I find this scenario for NYMX very disturbing to say the least. I recall Dr. John Madden, football announcer and ex super bowl coach, making this comment frequently: 'A football game should not be decided by the referee.' It should be decided by the quality of the players involved. This comes to mind here because it appears NX-1207 is in trouble before the study begins. It seems to be set up to lose because of impossible statistical measures to surmount. One product is clearly up to the mark, but fails approval because of the new statistical level required. Where is the fairness here? Where is the FDA to allow a company to be trapped in this kind of 'jugarnaut' trap? Do they not realize there are sick people out there, or in there, waiting with baited breath for a success of a product to relieve their suffering? And how about the pain and suffering of the people involved in a hopeless cause? And how about the stupidity of a product that measures up but fails because of statistical juggling?
