If the Judge really did say that, then he can be considered bias. But, I doubt he is the source of the quote above.
Perhaps BP intends to escalate disputes with the Judge to the point that there is cause for replacing him based on a hostile relationship.
I bought 1000 at 5.50, then 4000 at 2.51. When it hit 6.39 I banked it. Got lucky with this high risk bet and did not want to push my luck. That's my 2cents for what it is worth.
Shift, I sleep fine, thank you. And thanks again: I look at the seeking alpha articles differently now. "Hebba Investments" reports on the costs of mining silver are interesting, these are what Crusader referred to, I think. Looking at AG - First Majestic more closely after reading some.
I guess I am the only one that sees a spate of positive articles as possible pumping prior to dumping? As far as panic, I sure wish I had panicked earlier in 2008!
Right, thank you. Let me rephrase. There have been several articles posted on seeking alpha lately that seem to be pumping EXK. This worries me as I am long EXK. Anyone else view seeking alpha general sentiment as a contrarian indicator?
Yes. Stay away for now. Watch, and when you think it is on the rise; go all in. That's my plan. I don't think it will go below $15 keeping in mind that production costs are 20 - 25. At current prices miners will shut down and supply will fall...
Nothing has really changed. No news, Inflation low, stocks up, silver flat. What's up all of a sudden, why today?
Need to free up some cash. What to sell, what to sell?
1) Sure wish I had a business on the Gulf so I could bilk BP out of $millions and retire early . BP really needs to quit forking over the cash and fight back already.
2) No way XOM or CVX or any major gets approval from Dept. of Justice to buy BP. However, DOJ will OK deals involving bits and pieces. Looks like BP will continue to sell off most of its American assets that way.
What do you-all think?
I sold all 6300+ shares for $46 Jan/Feb 2012. I bought and sold so many times before that I don't know exactly what my cost was. I did OK overall with about 400% return over a 20 yr period.
Don't understand your string of numbers, but, I get the average cost number. Still watching BP close.
I do not believe you when you say you were "..Big Buyer...@40.3785" because you are a bitter bag holder. What price did you really get in at way back when? It's OK to be honest, no one here knows who you are anyway.
I was thinking 27-33, but, looking at the 5 yr chart, 36 may be the number. Where did you see a quote from T Boone re: 36?
Oops, BP down again today. It is getting tempting, must stay strong and wait for 27-33. BTW I have never shorted in my entire life.
This is probably posturing for leverage towards a settlement. This thing could actually fianlly start moving towards resolution? Watching and waiting for $27 - $33 entry point.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
