Dude, Never threaten someone's life on a message board. You can say how you feel and that you wish him to fail, but please don't go where you went. I personally hope to watch him get cracked financially, that would satisfy me more.
I have been around now for a couple of years, I have shares at different levels, only a few thousand... But want more, it just takes me a long time to accumulate. Many of you speak of getting out and at what price. In my retirement account and my personal account I work on keeping 1,000 shares for at least ten years... The others I can get out in mid-20s if I need to. My bet is that OPKO will become a dividend paying stock, maybe ten years down the road (or they will be bought out by a dividend paying company). I am looking for this to be a nice part of my retirement someday.
I want it to go down... Then I can keep buying through these next few months. ;-)
And PFE gets to control even more of the HGH market.
Anything above $20 at end of 2016 is a windfall in my book. Heck, I would even take $15.
One thing that we can see is that Bozzo and his buds are still here. These are the only ones who would even care about you / our bashing Bozzo, IMO. He is dangerous though, his kind are, I am afraid that in a couple of days he will short attack this to drive it down, almost as if nothing happened today. I want it low so that I can keep adding to my January 2016 & 2017 Calls at $10...
You know now that the Prolor deal will absolutely be largely profitable for OPKO, and possibly Prolor was a great deal only off of this one drug.
Last earnings call Frost said something about other drug opportunities. Wondering if he is ready to start buying again.
GOOD!!! The stock moving down for the next few months, six months, or today means nothing to me. My only concern is for revenue to keep increasing through 2015 & 2016. I have only 1,000 in my IRA (more in my regular account) but that 1,000 shares I believe will provide for much of my retirement. It will grow then provide dividends (as long as no one buys it out). I hope that it doesn't get purchased. My worry is that Teva will feel that OPKO is too much of a perfect fit for them, they will want it. You can even make the argument that they need it to stay a vital growing company. Just ask your self if they would be interested in a company with great growth potential, with low risk high return products coming out with global reach where they will have no competition for years? Absolutely.
Poohie, the shorts don't like Burnaka's post! Look at all of the negs! I like when shorts get frustrated!
Wished someone would explain why someone would do the $10 January 15s? $10 January 16s, yes, the $10 January 17s, absolutely (these last two are where my position is).
Performance embarrassing? Then why don't you go away? As revenue increases, so will the price.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
For what? Insider trading? What he is saying might be hypothetical and based on some guess. In any event, insider trading happens all of the time, every single darn day, much of it friends and family type stuff.
I keep adding to my January 2017 $10 Calls by selling off the expensive items in my Star Wars collection. I will keep doing this for these next few months. The way I look at it is my low estimate for revenue mid-2016 is $100 million per quarter. If this is multiplied by the approximate 30 times value that we get for revenue at the moment then we should be around the mid-20s by Fall 2016. All of these numbers are rough, the $100 million per quarter is a low estimate based on Burnaka's 4K, blood tests and other sales by then excluding anything but US sales.
Reading this article, if I was new to investing in OPKO or COCP, it would not make me feel warm and fuzzy. My point is that it is not a Dr Frost pump, it is just info sprinkled with skepticism. Interesting, nice read for me.
Perhaps this would have made a huge difference 18 months ago, but as time goes by, and OPKO grows, the company becomes more its own entity separate from the creator of it. A natural progression. Basing my investment decision in OPKO on whether he stays alive seems, well, odd. I don't think that they will need to 'sort things out'.
What it would change, IMO, is the future of acquisitions. I have long felt Dr Frost's contacts in the industry, and respect he gets, opens doors to OPKO. Hoping that he will stay healthy for many years to come of course, he is a great guy.
