Elon just needed parking space during the snow storm for owners that couldnt take delivery today.
There is no excess inventory.
Everything is fine , .... did I mention Tesla may build a factory in Texas, ... and a second gigafactory, ... and will have a new model car that will be sold first in China.
..... these are not the droids you are looking for.
Elon is an amazing guy, and I really like investing in companies that are engineering driven, as opposed to letting the bean counters run it.
My feelings towards Telsa, the company, has changed. While they make a great car, the business is way over valued. I base this on Tesla choosing to build a superb but very expensive car to start off. After delays, they will now find it difficult, or impossible to go downmarket and build a successful $30-40k EV. This will be due to numerous ( as in approximately two dozen ) competitors also now trying to tap the same markets.
While I feel Tesla had initial technical advantages initially, engineers at BMW, Ford, Renault, Nissan and others are no slouches either. They may not be as quick to market new technologies as Tesla. but they have superior resources and will never be all that far behind.
Love Elon, love the car, .... but sorry, above $200 I'm short.
DEFINITION OF 'LEVERED FREE CASH FLOW'
The free cash flow that remains after a company has paid its obligations on its debt. The levered cash flow represents the amount of cash left over for stockholders and for investment after all obligations are covered. The levered cash flow can be negative while the operating cash flow is positive if the amount of cash paid to cover obligations exceeds the cash that comes from operations.
No matter what its values at, Levered Free Cash Flow indicates they can not afford to service the debt.
The purchase was ill timed, and the value has changed. Its like a teenager buying a Corvette for half its value, he still cant afford the payments, insurance etc. no matter how good a deal it seemed.
... and add to that that there is now a glut of Corvettes on the market, its not a healthy situation.
Cant do that if I want to have his baby.
( and he is single now, have to work quickly, to hell with that court restraining order )
Daring enough to be great implies that risks must be taken.
Elon has an impressive record even if Tesla never becomes a financial success.
He is insuring that human life goes on even if the Earth is destroyed.
He is also bringing the internet to space.
Will it go ahead as planned, get downsized, or get scrapped altogether?
Gigafactory was always a distraction from core business that Tesla did not need.
There was never a shortage of flashlight batteries.
100 plus up day and this stock is down 5%?
What gives? ... is it going to be a bad bear Christmas?
Bad news for oil means good news for bears.
As oil gets cheaper people have more discretionary dollars, and they of course immediately start thinking where they can get cheap imported Chinese toy bears. This stock is sure to triple in next three days.
You cant sue someone for expressing an opinion, yet.
I also think AEZS is oversold and at these levels is a buy due to pipeline.
