Just came out on Breitbart.......probably why RGR is up while the market is down.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Give me a break. I am a SBUX shareholder but much of what they do is pure BS. They charge $1.95 for their Ethos water and claim they are giving the money for water projects around the world. Read the fine print and it is a NICKEL out of each $1.95 they "donate". Much of what they do is a scam to make people feel better about themselves.
CAB makes money off guns yes, but they are also part bank, something which Wall Street overlooks. They are part retailer, part bank as about 10 years ago they purchased the credit card business in its entirety. So they own the account of all of their customers, and they get the interest that goes along with it. This makes up about 14% of their earnings and is growing every year. The credit ratings of the customers are also some of the best in the credit card industry so it is a good risk. They made a great move by buying the credit card business.
When you look at the balance sheet and see all of the debt for CAB, that is related to the credit card.
They make it sound as though they are donating the proceeds from the sale of that water to these organizations, but it is only a nickel.....2.5%!
If that isn't criminal, it sure should be.
Odd to see CAB making a big move to the upside today with RGR being down 10%. Somebody is buying, maybe for the banking part of the business.
Sounds like another open-minded and tolerant liberal! Can you people be any more hateful? Good God, get a life.
You are correct. Usually they don't, but sometimes they do. Nobody has a crystal ball. If Republicans win in 2016, look for gun sales to fall considerably, and look for the market to begin pricing that in.
I posted it here #$%$. I sold some of my position at 84 and some at 74. Go back and check for yourself. I have nothing to prove in internet tough guys.
Obviously, the market is saying that the growth rate will be coming down substantially in coming quarters. Look at the horizon, not the pavement.
Forgot to add.....trees do not grow to the sky. Never did. Never will. Which is why I sold some of my position at 84. When I saw the market cap, I asked myself, just how big is the market for guns?
All is not lost. This stock had a run of 5 to 85 over a period of 5 years. Few equities ever have that type of performance in their lifetime. And FWIW, the lower the price, the more shares one will receive when divvys are distributed.
Clicking on Blooomturd articles will only make a prominent Anti-2A person rich. Lesson: Don't do it.
