The price was not listed yet on the VTR web site however, the opening price was $34.05.
Looks like CCP is market priced at about $8.50 per VTR share ( $34.....so expect about a $60 handle Tuesday morning.
CCP will be on the prowl for properties shortly. Who might be the publicly held candidates?
Probably chapter 11 and restructure the debt. The bond holders will be the new owners.
Thanks all...I have my mother in law in an assisted living place (not SNR) in Brooklyn NY and it cost $2600/month for a 2 bed - room ( she shares the room with another person) and board. We pay another $1100/month for medical administration assistance. Nail polishing and haircuts are extra. Alot of activities for her. However, I like the properties SNR has.
$0.1375 /quarterly dividend declared for 10/15/2015 and 01/15/16. Will continue on a quarterly basis. I actually thought they would declare $0.125 ... 69% payout. Comments?
Management promised for 2015 rate would be higher....oh well another lie. Did stockholder forget?
I agree, had to put my mother in law in an Assisted Living org in NYC....wonderful treatment and all cash monthly B&B rent payment plus cash payments for special handling. They do not take medicare payments...all from savings.
Stock price is back up and hopefully management bought more shares while prices were depressed. So now we are back up in price. Time to bring back the Special Divy!
MPT owns hospitals and medical care facilities and SNR owns Assisted Living and Independent Living facilities....quite different.
This is a quality REIT! I owned it since prior to it converting to a REIT...in the 30s. I just another bunch at 61.80 yesterday. Its a hold for us new retirees. yes the oprice may go down...just focus that you are getting currently from the close price a 6.2% yield and the new quarterly divy will be announced by the end of next week too.
