Why are they still here? Do they want the stock to go to zero? I ignored them all but every once in a while a new moniker appears. Sad. They have nothing else to do?

No I was in the air all day yesterday..What did it say? After the great work by the PR group they have to be getting slammed by calls.I think they will have some great data for us soon and I think they are paying attention to the calls they have been getting from shareholders.

Pharma. You have to believe that guy Hancock spent the last three months since he joined to set up the manufacture and distribution arms. I have a question. If they had $1 Million in inventory how many device would that be? Let us assume they had 5,000 devices in inventory. That puts the cost at $200 a unit. At $400 a unit they would have a 2500 devices. They have 13 centers and the Mayo could be marketing in 160 of their collaborative hospitals for all we know. What do you think it costs them to make one device? This is crucial to their game plan. They are not going to sell this device in Europe and that has to bring a partner into the picture. Domestically I think their program is to start the process themselves and then show sales. They have two people on board who have to be working with the AMA on the CPT codes. For all we know Medtronics may make the device for them.
I don't really care who makes it for them as the device obviously passed the FDA sniff test.

They have two meeting coming up, early February and then with us. We should have a very clear picture soon.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

This has nothing to do with the other. Ever think some drug company may want to do a collaboration on a new target like pancreatitis? VBOC is spoken for and whatever deal they make has zero to do with this conference.

May be looking for a Marketing Partner

Well said but I think the first partner is international. Where the approval has been longer. Domestically they have one big pal right now, the Mayo Clinic. They want to have 25 centers by the end of the year. They have 13 now. All they have to do is a refresh with the surgeons. Who do they have to sell to? The hospitals will hear and ask ETRM to visit. Mayo has associations with 160 hospital and growing. I think they have the plan and I think an internationmal deal with upfronts could be the first item. They have Boston sewed up with Scott Shikora and Tufts. They have two people in executive management who have to be working full time with the AMA et al on the CPT codes. Some act here like they are doing nothing. I feel there are a lot of moving parts now and we should just wait for them to let us know. I think we should have a $500 MM market cap right now,

As a long term holder I know what everyone else does. They have the products and the people but they just can't get anything over the goal line. My bet is some Chinese group is trying to bankrupt them so they can steal the technology. They are walking all over the planet with GE and you would think GE would make a token investment.
Sorry but I am losing faith.

Argot Partners did a spectacular job with the media after we got approval. A lot of you may not understand, but TV and print does not pick FDA approvals up and us them for the evening news and headlines. Those folks
really spread the word and made a great start for getting the market aware.

I think it is very timely. There will be a Q&A and the right questions should be asked. This is as good of a place for the company to debut their plans and where they are in terms of selling the device. A few days later they have their numbers.

Edwin Land who invented the Land camera was a great scientist and a great businessman. I hate to say this but they are rare. Knudson has bought and sold and ran companies and I listened to the ADCOM meeting and he was pretty savvy. We got approved 1/14...Lets see what they do before we send in an assassin!

Bio, you saw it with the pills that were approved. They could not get the medical profession behind them as their benefit was not great and Fen-Phen's shadow is still there. This is a new science as much as it is a device for obesity. I do not think the market understands those matters. Remember that May 23, 2014 article in the New York Times Magazine. " Can the Human Body be Hacked?" Only GSK I think was involved at the time. We have devices like the Pacemaker and insulin pumps but they do not deliver a therapeutic response. I can see how the FDA wrestled with approval as the VBLOC approval constitutes a completely new arena in medicine. These things take a while to get appreciated. We have a collaboration with the Mayo Clinic and I think this is where it is going to start. Our other centers will be running as well. I think and hope they raised $10-15 Million in the last two weeks. They were surprised the approval did not get the stock a lot higher and this fellow Hancock had a road map and he needed capital. At this stage it is not a big thing regarding dilution,
but now we have to see results and communication. I expect both.

Obesity is becoming the biggest killer in the world. Pills will not work as they are introduced into the stomach and that is not good. Novo Nordisk's drug is injected but it is really an artificial insulin that did have some weigh loss properties. VBLOC will be excellent and the company will now be able to vary the dose charge which should make it work for more patients. I am patient and all I see is a very heavy population that needs it.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

a lot of you go to the company's web site and look at the Board of Directors and their competency. It is pretty excellent. They have private equity, Medtronics and Cyberonics folks and an ex-Morgan Stanley biotech head.
These folks have as much to gain and lose as we do and I hope management takes their opinions seriously.
