How much capital did Amgen spend before its first product? You can look at any 10Q or 10K from any
developmental company and read the same things. You take us for idiots? ETRM does not have 200 Million shares outstanding like a lot of companies.Take your pals at ARNA. They have 216 Million shares outstanding an a 1.2 Billion loss carry forward. I could go into 200 balance sheets and get the same data you get from ETRM.

Your analysis is bogus. You have no idea what you are talking about. The way a company raises capital and how it develops its products is simple finance which you do not understand. How would you have them operate away from selling stock? And a shelf registration? You read 10Q boilerplate statements and assume none of us know what is occurring.

One trick pony?? Sure, but it is a trick that is going to make the company worth a great deal.
Before you opine first get an understanding of how small developmental device companies and biotechs
operate. I suggest you wait for the the FDA decision then tell us now smart you were to sell. Your 10Q
    diatribe is useless.

ARNA CEO sells 40% of his holdings

Endoscopic surgery is easier to teach than filling a cavity. It is air, a camera, and two 1/2 inch holes. My gastroenterologist told me it would take him and hour or two to learn the procedure. But this will be done by surgeons and those guys are quick learners when the money bell goes off. Orthopaedic guys do 10 knees a day.

They have to disclose a partner. That is not scientifically sensitive. And why wouldn't they disclose that!!!!!! I have waited 3 years for Mulroy to find a partner. All he has done is lose one!

It is not a knife..you seem to know very little about endoscopic procedures. And for the future, patients know what a scope will do and a non-invasive device. They still have no idea what a pill will do. How do you defend ARNA's pathetic sales so far? They have been on the market a while now. Save your money. Buy ARNA leaps.

Novel? The mechanism has been known forever. How can you claim side effects are zero when so few people have taken it. And I know people who have taken it and they say it was useless. Long term play?? You have been long that garbage since when? The FDA does not like pills but has a great deal of pressure to approve them. Jack Leif has been working on erectile drugs and all kinds of #$%$ for years and look at where the stock is? Look at the short interest? And the CEO is a seller.

Please do not claim safety for Belviq. It took 2 years for Phen Fen to kill. And the scrips??
You must be joking. Novel? You're novel!@

Why is he selling any shares, anytime if he believes in his company. Useless CEOs hide behind 10bs all the time. They say they will get new shares via options..that is typical crock BS. His drug DOES NOT WORK pal..Keep your stock. He gets it free. Dope

You do not need a road map on this one. I do not root against anything that helps the nation lose weight but talk to any family doc. Phen Fen wrecked the space and it amazes me they sell any pills at all. If anything Belviq may be second line..maybe..5 years from now and the VBLOC is going to be the fist in line service.
It will not be $10,000 a copy. It is going to be $2500 and $1500 for the surgery and insurance will cover it.
In the first 2 years we will do 500,00 devices. Safety and benefit/ risk news was all the FDA needs and they are monitoring the EWL in all the folks who still have the device. It will eventually go to BMIs under 35.
ARNA or VVUS buying ETRM..stop smoking that crazy stuff. This company has just started. We will be a manufacturing licensing operation for a few years and will bring other products along. Knudson is one smart guy and he is not flashy and no BS artist...

You got it..The pills are dead as the side effects are still unknown and no doc is going to prescribe them without a 3-5 year info scale. Just read Canacord's latest piece. 75/25 approval but key was the comments about the FDA at the ADCOM meeting. Would not be surprised if FDA allowed the device to be used for BMIs under 40....There is still nothing out there short of torture to help with obesity.

Would you rather they gave them options which have to be expensed?
These people, all 27 of they, worked very hard to get the ADCOM ready and monitor the patients. In the big picture it is quite small. Also , you want to keep your good people. This is an exciting new area and we have a big head start. Merck just put $10 MM into it. Give them a break.
If it was millions and piles of options I could understand your complaint.
    Poor judgment? Far from it.

They are not going to build a sales force. They do not have to. Thermo Fisher, McKesson, Medtronics all fit the bill. And they do not engage shareholders ( deuxtrax comment above ) because for the last 12 months they have been engaging the FDA and right now is crucial to keep a low profile and work within the FDA's limits. They talk to them all the time s the FDA wants to know every bit of data from the people still on VBLOC. They will get this device approved. There is nothing out there short of barbaric surgery and those pills that DO NOT WORK!! The first vapor lock victim from Belviq and it is game over....

This company will make a deal and live off royalties as they venture into the next bioelectronics area.
They have a great science, a first to market device and soon the capital to carry it forward.

Hey OOOZE, have you found another device that has been treated as a therapeutic????

It is going to be a huge field.ETRM is right there. I think obesity is not the only plan. This stock is cheap. The FDA is right on top of this and know it is the best treatment and will approve this..and sooner than September.

  • innsbrooklad innsbrooklad Jun 30, 2014 3:02 PM Flag

Hey moron...You had a group of surgeons looking at efficacy. Some said they were not qualified. I asked you last week to find any ADCOM device committee that had to look at a
device that was also a therapeutic. They were all surgeons and gastroenterologists. They were clueless regarding efficacy and you know that. The surgeons said it was safe. They said the risk/benefit was positive 6-2. The FDA in attendance was not hostile. 24 month data is overwhelming. This is the only chance obesity will be attacked. Take you pills and use them as suppositories. You are a complete moron.
