Ever hear the term " rectal barometer?"

You left out funding and mediocre management..want to continue?? Good analysis though and quite plausible.

Two weeks ago they had a deal with Sanofi. When the stock was $2.05 they had the Sanofi deal but not the 398 results. MM 398 could be a big drug. MM 121 could be a big drug. Does not change the fact that they have to address how to proceed with a mediocre management team. Lastly, it still begs the question why did Sanofi return the drug? When those events are ironed out and the shareholders can stop guessing it may be a good investment. Imagine Sanifi had 121 for five years and bailed.

    I. a lemming. still think the management is the problem. I can understand the " we own it all argument " but it is a long time and a lot of capital until they prove how good it is. It is still a problem there was no Sanofi explanation for its exit and all commentary is a guess.
If Mulroy had something brewing don't you think he could have convinced SNY to wait a week or two? Bottom line...not a lot of answers to your guesses.

I have been in it years longer...They lost $130 Million last year after $47 Million from Sanofi.
Do the math. Other drug companies did not make a deal with us and they will bleed us to death. Expect another JP Morgan financing abortion, and we will still have our CEO because the board has been bought by options....

I am not mad. I just hate getting lied to. And why should MACK take off???

HUH? Send me some of the stuff you are smoking. MACK has had 3 years to repartner any of their other drugs and funny, I do not see anyone running to Cambridge to make a deal. Do you?

    The Press release

Do not be naïve. If Sanofi made a corporate decision to leave the oncology space that is a material fact which THEIR shareholders would like to know. The got it back for a reason and the press release said nothing to the effect as to why. They just told us what a wonderful drug it is. Yeah? Sanofi did not think so. If SNY left the space the stock would have gone up. As it is I cannot believe anything MACK says.

    Good luck to you.

How you June $2.50 call buyers feeling??????
To the sellers I tip my hat..and to the folks who bought the $2.50 June puts at $1.00 from me...send me the stock!

This story is just beginning...Worst part to me is they may get a very scary bid and sell the company too, too early.

PR at MACK is a joke...always has been like the management...
Should have known..When Ulrich sells so should you.

  • innsbrooklad by innsbrooklad Jun 19, 2014 5:11 PM Flag

was useless..Why did SNY give it back? Are they leaving the space. If so the market would have understood.
Get ready boys and girls you are going to get a financing. MACK does not have the resources to take 121 forward and when trying to repartner 121 you can assume other drug companies will extract a pound of flesh.
Oh and while we are at it get rid of Bob Mulroy. He is totally useless.

Amazing...Fido why do you keep buying Mulroy's line of bullschitte?

    Gallup Explanation for Unemployment

    by innsbrooklad Jun 19, 2014 8:49 AM
innsbrooklad innsbrooklad Jun 19, 2014 9:46 AM Flag

The shorts used the 2 1/2 calls as protection. I do not know where the shorts were put on but some have to be in the 1.50 area..Not a big hit so they will cover and go away. The stock will trade 1.70-2.25 for a while and hopefully we will hear management say something to the market. The CC cancellation? I think we will see Cowen convinced them to sell the shares ( wrong move IMO ) but having the capital to go forward even at this price is prudent. I do not think their CFO is a barn burner. I would have looked privately with the institutions we already have, but it is what it is.Even at 80 mm shares, this stock is a joke. This device will replace bariatric surgery.

  • There is a great story with charts on Zero Hedge about obesity and the effect it has on unemployment.
Staggering data. If you have time it is a great read.

The FDA knows, the AMA knows, now GALLUP knows!!!!!

I think they have 90 days to respond. I would guess it comes sooner. They presented at the ADCOM and were unusually supportive in my view.

This stock will only go up when the promises of Bob Mulroy are fulfilled. He is the sole reason this great company has dismal stock performance. I can give you a list of 10 companies with far less but higher market caps based solely on management delivery and investor confidence in that management.

Bob promised a few deals this year. If he has none by September you are going to get another JPM
abortion. I will not comment on the BOD..They should have all been removed years ago but the institutional
owners all live in Boston and go to the same clubs.

What other devices was Lerner referring to? Staples and lap bands to not come under that category.
Did someone else invent a device we are unaware of? The Lerner letter of 12/12 basically said that the FDA had no clue in this areas and was learning on the job. Stop your bulschitte please.

Go back and read the letter.

I have been in the biotech industry as an investor forever. My first foray was AMGN at $1.87...but this is the best investment I have ever seen at this price. It is not only a first in class of a medical device but of a scientific approach to curing a lot of diseases. Eventually this will get to neurological problems. This company will not be around in 12 months and I expect a 3 Billion price tag.

  • innsbrooklad by innsbrooklad Jun 18, 2014 5:32 PM Flag

the company took down $25 Million from Cowen today. Sold 15 million shares. That is the only way I can account for the volume.

Don't be surprised...Our CEO Mulroy has a penchant for promises he does not keep and that is why the stock sits. I do believe he will get something done soon, but he scares me most of the time.
He had an MM 302 deal that faded and had to do that last #$%$ financing. I would hate to see that again. The stock now based on MM 398 should be $15...but the market knows our management sucks.

That is total bullschitte. They will do more VBLOC surgeries than bariatric and my feeling is the insurance industry may pay for VBLOC. They do not pay for bariatric. Who profits? The surgeons? They are out there shorting it? You are daft. The hospitals? Come on. Use you head for something other than a hat rack.

They had 6 surgeons on the ADCOM. All voted for safety and all voted for 18 month efficacy.
