Book smart body stupid....But I agree with Gary..the medical profession and drug companies make much more with obesity...Want to see something alarming..Look at the IMS data for insulin sales last year.

The analysts never ask tough questions because they will suffer Mulroy's ire and get left out of financings. And they will spend us into oblivion unless someone on the Board advises they shelve one or two of the trials...European approval will be soon and that milestone will get paid. If I was big pharma I would make a low ball bid now and they could take us out...management does not own enough stock to stop it and maybe Gary Crocker has had enough of Mulroy...( that is wishful thinking )

Intergration will take at least a year and 398 is too small to matter....Baxalta has to have a standstilll..but Shire does not...all depends if we can Mulroy or not but sadly I think MACK is dead money for 6 months

Dead money...The stock will do nothing for 6 months....you will do better in other investments. With the idiot who runs the company no one else is going to get interested.
Look at the institutional holders. They lose a big one every quarter. And the others just keep averaging down...

I am not saying pull it out...It is just not going anywhere as long as Mulroy runs the company. And no one has gains except me and some of the other original seed folks. You know how long I have owned this stock??????
And don't use Warren Buffet as a rule. If he wasn't bribing Obama we would have the Keystone Pipeline.

You want to play in this stock...buy calls...and I am beginning to think the upswing is a pipe dream....The stock is here because this is all it is worth.
Of course any major deal could improve the stock price. But I have been promised that for three years now and we just took on a load of debt.

You my friend are late to a game of Mulroy.

Mulroy will just burn more. He would do better to close a few trials and focus on the nanotechnology which seems very workable. But he is not the brightest bulb on the CEO tree so don't expect the revenue to cover the burn....

You still do not get it....THIS IS 100% A MANAGEMENT ISSUE.....Mulroy could still screw up 398...He is useless and that is why our stock is here....The market does not trust him..he has lied to several of us and has no idea of how to run a company except to give huge option grants to directors to keep his job. After last year and the FDA approval they should have fired him. I do not disagree with your math, just your ignorance of how a company should be run. Sorry

Send me some of the stuff you are smoking....Big tobacco wants us dead...they will never be allowed to buy us.
Imagine a company that could cut your sales by 30-40%. Once we get approval from the FDA the best trade will be to short big tobacco especially if they get a deal with a major collaborator. But us being bought by big tobacco??? You my friend are delusional.

Stop drinking the Kool Aid....You are such a zealot..How do you explain the pathetic course of our stock. If enough people complain about Mulroy maybe they can get someone in to run the company. There are a lot of other companies and I could care less. I own this one.

Do you understand it will never get by Justice. They smoke..We are anti-smoking. Imagine if McDonalds wanted to buy Weight Watchers??? Same idea....We will get bought by a large distributor when we make a deal....But MO will never be MOXXII....Imagine if the FDA mandated that tobacco companies had to offer VLN products?

They were able to close a $1 Billion deal before approval? And what would have happened if 398 got rejected? Baxaltas only money would have been the entrance fee to see if it worked. They guessed right. And what of SNY returning 121? I guess that does not count.

I am a shareholder, not a short seller and I have been in the stock since the beginning. Are you happy with the value we have? This is all about management and optics. Lets assume 398 is just a $500 mm drug world wide. Look at your pal AMGN. They sell at 5 times sales. Our market cap is $700 Million on a potential $500 MM drug???? That is the disconnect.
Lets be really optimistic and say sales cover the burn and we won't have to finance again. Still...right now our stock should be $13-15 but it is not.
Is the market wrong? We have bad management..period. I wish you guys would stop defending Mulroy. He has done a #$%$ poor job and we pay him for that?????As long as he is here your only hope is a Hail Mary buyout which will be at a very cheap level.

For the tenth time sir..the short interest in MACK is 70% the convertible bond deal....The recent 5 million shares are an odd lot and done against options...Make your short argument when it costs to borrow the stock and half the float is shorted..

sir you are a legend in your own mind....anyone who mentions his wealth on a yahoo message board is also an empty suit...the ignore button still works...you simply miss the point..we can all see a balance sheet and what the company is doing especially the people who run the company. and i am not obsessed. you can't defend mulroy and the stocks awful performance so you and others call me a short seller and a basher. since going public how has the stock performed? that is my only gauge. and do not blame the market.
