From 4/7 to 4/29 they added 15 centers and 21 docs...Pretty impressive. Maybe the centers are driving demand as much as the docs. I would love to see how many cities that represents. Also training and certifying docs are two different things as stated they have to be certified by doing a procedure. But the growth is pretty amazing and there may be 100 centers by year end..easily.
More news? Partners, reimbursement? And did you see the financial data and how big the inventory build was.
No conference call? My experience they are a waste of time and they have better things to do. Call them and ask your question. Lea says they have resources in 2016..with 11.4 million on the balance sheet that is two quarters.
Maybe the addition of Sikora will accellerate business.
Indeed it was great news. The centers opening have to give us some charge on the reimbursement front. I wish Sikora was here now as he could be certifying a whole bunch. But this is not a sprint and the day traders should get lost. I would guess in Q1 there were no procedures. Look at the financials.
Income??? Lea does not seem overly worried about capital though I wish he a $20 Million more. We may see a private soon I hope. The will not take the ATM down here.
But the growth from 4/7 to 4/29 was 100%.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
What is an unrecorded write down??? They carry the asset at cost until they sell it is what I learned. How about the unrecorded write up in their real estate portfolio? They just sold one property back to the government. They win or lose???
The Board is also very able. You get the point. The bariatric surgeons see the handwriting on the wall. The FDA and the market wants better and less invasive procedures. And the pills are not going to do it. Obese people eat right through them. But no one mentions the technology which I think is world class and not appreciated.
Non cash charge?? Why....You do not have to write down an investment until it is impaired or your CPAs tell you to....GAAP...Sarbanes Oxley...Give it a rest...They make a dividend don;t they??
What are you smoking....The RSI got over 70 when the stock hit 13 70 and the next day there was a key reversal. You ? Technicals? CLUELESS...You were wrong and a zealot so just give the guy credit.
Nice call and the biotech space was was over priced..MACK was not but they trade at a discount because their management is mediocre..I see the 200 day as the target..hopefully. Sold my second
level of June puts today..25% position...
You are a legend in your own mind. Sophisticated programs?? Like you huh?
You just got lucky that Mulroy didn't hit the market with 20 million shares which tells me we get news soon.
I did not see your congratulatory post because I do not read your zealous posts.
How about we put each other on "Ignore." See ya fool.
Interesting..on a weekly basis the RSI hit 70 on Tuesday.. Now the daily is 33...Was way overbought..With the IBB taking gas I wonder if Fidelity lightened the MACK load this week...Pretty good buy next week.
I am Mortimer..standing over his brother when he had the heart attack on the MERC...
Remember what he said????
I waited 3 years for deals and all I saw was dilution...Good luck...I will remove all my comments.
You obviously know more than me.
Biotia brought up an interesting fact regarding a lawsuit and settlement in the VA with a failed bariatric surgery. Does anyone else have any information regarding lawsuits on failed bariatric procedures? Surgeons pay a very high malpractice premium ( now you know why a lot are working in hospitals ) and if VBLOC can perform at the level of an invasive bariatric surgery why would any bariatric surgeon not get on the VBLOC wagon? I vaguely remember a comment by Knudson saying " VBLOC does not have a million dollar error " or something a while back. I am not a lawyer but it seems obvious if VBLOC is as good as bands why would any surgeon recommend a bariatric procedure when a non-invasive VBLOC could be as good?
I would like to hear your comments and any information you have on any private legal problems from bariatric surgery, or if there are any docs who post is this a factor in your practice.
